  • A few weeks ago, I asked my subscribers what their favorite tram types are, without telling any further intentions. So this is a video made from your input! Please let me know in the comments which tram types you are missing still!

A design-focused tram video is right up my alley!
The lovely green CAF Urbos 3 of Lund, Scandinavia’s most recent tram city.
The likewise green Siemens of Copenhagen’s soon to be completed ring 3 light rail - that will, weirdly enough, make the Danish capital the 11th Scandinavian tram city!

For me it's the new Skoda ForCity Plus series (29T/30T in Bratislava, 46T/47T/48T now starting in Germany and upcoming 52T for Prague)

There are some trams that you didn't mention in your video but they are some of my favorites:
    1) Moderus Beta (these trams made by the reconstruction of some Konstal trams and putting a low-floor middle section)
    2) URAC V3A (The classical Bucharest-made double-articulated trams that I rode so much during my childhood)
    3) Astra Imperio (modern low-floor Romanian-made trams)
    4) The Bozankaya trams of Iași and Timișoara
    5) The ST12 (based on a prototype from Karlsruhe, manufactured by Waggon-Union/ABB), ST13, ST14 (made by LHB/Alstom) and ST15 trams (Stadler TINA) of Darmstadt, Germany.
    6) The Düwag M8C/PtB trams of Mainz and Frankfurt am Main
    7) Stadler Variobahn (Mainz)
    8) Adtranz GT6N/GT8N from Mainz, Berlin, München and Nürnberg.
    9) Rathgeber Typ M (I rode these trams so much in my childhood in Bucharest, Romania)
    10) The wonderful Siemens ULF trams of Vienna and Oradea and the Combino Supra snake-like trams of Budapest
    11) The SGP E1 and Ganz CSMG trams of Vienna and Budapest
    12) The Hyundai Rotem trams of Warsaw
    13) (They were mentioned in the video and are in service in most Eastern Bloc countries, including Romania), the Czechoslovak Tatra trams

For trams not mentioned in the video, visually speaking, I really like:
    Essen‘s M8D-NF2
    Frankfurt‘s Type T
    The Rhine-Neckar Variobahn
The Transtech Artics of Helsinki (and Schöneiche-Rüdersdorf)
The face-lifted Siemens Combinos that have the vertical headlights (such as in Bern or Erfurt)
The Stadler TINA with its huge windows
    The Toronto Bombardier Flexitys
    Melbourne‘s Z3-Class

I really like the older E2 trams in Vienna and also the newer Flexity Trams, not too fond of the ULFs tho.

    My favourite are:
    Tourist/ service trams:
Sanok SW-1 (or is it SN-1) I don't remember. I think only one original is in working condition, in my city of Lviv
Tatra T4 (because we were late for T3 or something), looks mostly identical to T3
    Working on lines:
Tatra Kt4d - they have really cool doors
    Electron T5L30
At least I think it's L30 why did they decide to write their length on the end of their models, still don't know
All from my city, as seeing a tram IRL leaves more of an impact than hearing about it once
