I remember one RUclipsr with goats say you have to take them from their mother and bottle feed them if you want them to be friendly .. you two have proven that so very wrong!! Yes Spruce is by far the most spoiled character but all your goats are so very friendly and loving. I just love to watch you with them!! Thank you for being who you naturally are.

@@KSGetOut Goats can give birth 5 days before due date or 5 days after due date. Sometimes there are complications like baby coming out backwards and mom might need help. So it great that you will be near by in case mom needs you. You both are awesome with your goats.
How cool to feel the babies kick, so special. Can't wait to meet them. Herc's face when Kyle was petting him, so precious. Man alive I remember when y'all got Spruce, what a cutie, still is. To say he's a character is putting it mildly. Love all your babies.
Something Kyle said on your last video about Harry and Larry think real hard about sending Harry away if he's a lone shy one he would not work at Grandpa's he would not have the the support he has at your farm

It truly melts my heart thinking of how Blue came to you guys and how you loved her through being so scared and unsure. All the patience and kindness you showed her and helping her to trust Herc while working with him. I have so much respect for the two of you. I absolutely adore all the critters so much, and thank you for sharing. It's so hard not to write a novel, each video gushing over all the cute, previous moments with each of them, but I'd fear getting blocked because my comments would be obnoxiously long 😂😅

Put Blue in the birthing pen, the one she is fed in. Just leave her in there. You overthink the simplest things ❤
Agree, it's called life, they will be just fine....helicopter parenting at its finest. Not being mean folks.
One possible issue with separating her from her boys…esp Larry…is if it causes Larry(or both)to become distressed which would cause Blue to become stressed. Even worse is the possibility of Larry(&/or Harry)acting distress along the fence where Blue would be & likely triggering Herc. Which either of the boys be chased or especially held down by Herc when should couldn’t get to them would extremely distress Blue.
Of course NONE of that may happen. But to avoid that possibility I’d suggest putting Blue in one nursery space & the 2 boys in the other. Especially at least at night when the animals can’t be closely & constantly monitored. Wish they had a nursery set up out of sight of the rest of the goats.
-Also if they decide to shut Blue in one of the nurseries they should make sure they can see the area with their cameras & potentially get an additional camera for inside the hut.
-I agree they sometimes go too
far into assigning human emotions & thought patterns onto their animals. I’m guilty of humanizing my pets to a point myself. But the parent-offspring relationship in animals is very different & FAR less complex than in humans. So I think they’re overthinking & assigning/assuming too much human emotions in regards to separating Blue & her kids. But that is a very common thing for people to do with their first animals. We need to remember how new to all of this they truly are! I know I often have to catch & remind myself how new they are to everything besides owning a pet dog in town. BC they post videos so often & I’ve been watching since the beginning it sometimes feels as if they’ve been doing this forever & this should know more. Of course that isn’t true.
I think I would close Blue off to herself in that newest nursery. Since her due date is tomorrow and that would keep Harry & Larry away from Blue while she's giving birth. Just a suggestion 🤷♀️🤷♀️

Yard sales,godwill and such are great places to pick up beach towels ,towels old blankets and sheets. I keep a cabinet full to use for the animal's if needed.

Her tail has to be fully down as that's when her ligaments are relaxing ready for birth. Herc looks so sad sometimes 😢 until one of you or shannon love him .❤

OMG when you did a closeup of Blue's back. When you said you think there was a kid on the right side, you could see one moving on her left side. So amazing.
Keep any eye on your weather. On your next barometric storm change and when Blue's tail has dropped and stays down is likely when things will all be in alignment for birthing.
Larry and Harry will be fine. Keep them I love your mom and dad. The boys will be fine.

Maybe you could put a strip or two of tape along the edge-side of the damaged foam to prevent the chewing on it. :) Oh, and btw, the little goats, and, big ones, are now 'our' pets too, layin' money on it.,, ha. But ever so relieved that L & H are not going.
