@@ddaavvee do you happen to know the crystal reference or exact dimension for this watch? I wave one in very nice shape with a shattered crystal that needs replacing :(
@prayve i do not. But measuring it and order8ng it is pretty simple, this is an easy crystal. Height and width in millimeter round to the nearest tenth will work. The. Search for a square acrylic crystal in those dimensions. It will need to be glued in.
I recently bought a bag of 108 old, ladies movements, cal 5 through 8, to sharpen my skills. I am always amazed when these dirty old girls will still run before a deep clean and service. I’ve gotten through a dozen so far. The tiny size really forces me to take my time and practice fundamentals. Used think I’d never need my 0.5 mm screwdriver 😂
When I started out, I did the same thing, just bought a few big piles or busted watches and fix as many as possible, since lady movements are so cheap, the majority were very small, haha.
Ha, wtf! under my breath. I was already mad that the camera was shut off and dying. What happened was I pushed the second hand down too far and it was touching the dial just enough to stop it. Easily fixed, but I was so done by then, haha.
Thank you for this. I took apart my 10ax and forgot which way the click spring went in hahaha. You’re a life saver.
Really glad to see these videos serving their purpose!

Wow, dial side isn’t doing very well. What did you clip to your movement holder? Is it meant to weigh it down? If so, good idea. Thanks.
The dial side was the worst ive seen in a long time. It's a microphone to catch sound of the work over the background noise.
24:10 lmaoooo 😂😂😂
