Breville is in fact more then hard to clean and few year this issue prevent working properly: one side of the slice is not toasted at all. Very technologic but not durable. I will give a try to cuisinart for the next one, no led plain easy. A toaster is a toaster not a statement.
"How futuristic is that". You do realize, back in the day near the beginning of toasters, Sunbeam made a toaster that went down as soon as you dropped your bread in; no buttons needed. And when it was done toasting, instead of exploding upward, the carriage for the bread slowly lifted it out of the toaster. Honestly, modern toasters are bit dumb in comparison.
"slowly lifted it out" I had a toaster once that if you put the plate next to the toaster, it shot it out and onto the plate when it was done. What other toaster can plate the toast for you.
I bought the Krups KH734D. A real piece of shit. Uneven toasting, when you get the just right color, the bread is dry as a bone. If you want thick melba toasts, this is the one to buy. Real junk for a high price.
I know I am replying very late well i just watched this video and there is a waste of 10 min thank god i was able to ship the nonsense this is not a review you didn't show anything. but a bunch of mid level toasters at best and did nothing about explaining why they rank the way they do. honestly you showed 2 different models of toaster and played it off like it didn't happen check 7.01 minutes in you show a completely different model the [ Cuisinart CPT-440 ] that has no levers but either way not a good review Buyers Guide ????

Tfal 4 slice 1700 watts and is fast. Nice to look at. Perfect toast even from frozen mode. No annoying beepers.
