Hiking The 3 Peaks Loop (Arlington, Cathedral & La Cumbre Peak), Santa Barbara, CA.
The day came when I decided to turn it up a notch. This is considered the most difficult hike in Santa Barbara, so I was expecting to really get challenged on this one. In retrospect, this was one of the toughest hikes I have ever done, despite being less than 10 miles of hiking. It took me 5 hours to climb the three peaks (which was only 3.5 miles). The rest of the hike involved reaching the Tunnel Trail, then descending it. After a long outing, the rocky descent on the Tunnel Trail was not a fun experience. So when I saw the trailhead gate at the end, I was overjoyed!

Exhilarating views of the pacific. I could breathe the fresh air. Glad you didn't hike alone today. Thank you so much.😊
Long time no speak. Glad to hear from you again!
So if you just go up tunnel trail can you make it the fire lookout?
Yes. The Tunnel Trail ends at a paved road. Turn left on the road and head up the mountain. Near the too, a use trail continues to the lookout tower.
@@MrMtee33 copy that! Thank you. I was up there today and turned around after part of the rock scramble because I wasn’t sure if it was going the right way. I’d rather just get the cardio and go the easy way! 😂
