  • When we heard there was a person in Sparta TN that had taken steps to make a dream involving flowers come true, we had to find out from the source. Sheri Gramer introduces us to Tracy. She set out to plant 5.000 daffodil bulbs in the half acre in front of her house. With the help of lots of family and friends, this is now a reality that is sure to increase with the 'wow' factor each and every year.

How can you still cut hay from that field if daffodils are toxic to livestock?

I was thinking the same thing. Google says they are poisonous to deer, rabbits and other mammals!

In my garden the foliage from daffodils melts away and is nowhere to be found by summer. Also I don’t think they’re deadly, maybe in mass quantities they would be. I’ve had deer nibble them and then realize they aren’t good.
