Tranks, really great. You said your pick is only getting the a and d string, but I think I hear and see you picking the low e and d string, so basically on that position two a's one octave apart, right?
For Travis picking its E and D strings mostly, sometimes A and D. I often brush the G when I hit the D. Sometimes its E-D-A-D alternating, its more Chet style. I misspoke probably.
Thanks, really do appreciate the time you're investing in this. I spend a lot of time on your lessons, I find them challenging, at least they are for me...
Excellent, Chris! Thanks for it!
Chris. Caught you a couple of time with The Starlight Drifters'. Good to see you're still rock'in!
Thank you Chris !!... Great playing and tone ;-)
Great work Chris. You’re too much.

So great. And so darn impossible.
Oh well, I guess it's just best to sit back and let musicians be musicians. The rest of us can just enjoy.
Sick!
is this a ES 335 with bigsby?
It's a Gibson Chet Atkins model. They made these after he parted ways with Gretsch.
Thats the Roland 201 Space Echo pedal.
Great vid. Excellent lesson. SO,,, a real Space Echo or the Boss Re 20 pedal. If it's the pedal it sounds too darn good & I will buy one for sure!
Thumb overs??? haha just kidding Chris
