6:37 filmed atop 908 S. Broadway, the same rooftop where Harold Lloyd built his clock set for Safety Last. The Majestic Theater at back appears prominently in Harold's film as well. Harold's set faced AWAY from the street, here the facade looks over Broadway.
Does anyone know whether or not Sennett hired animators other than "Pinto" Colvig? I know Sennett hired Walter Lantz after the latter finished an animated sequence Colvig started for The Goodbye Kiss, but were there any other regular animators? I ask because I want to know for sure who did the animation here.
This movie was way ahead of its time!
Thanks for recovering this "lost" short. I also love that scene.
Love the vacuum cleaner bit, also!
10:21 is colossal. I loved it!

Billy was very funny. I'm so glad there is no music.
Thanks to Richard Roberts for calling this to our attention in his commentary for WHEN COMEDY WAS KING.

Thank you so much for uploading this. Is there somewhere I can buy a hi res copy?
It's too bad someone didn't add a music soundtrack.
