In olden days did Koreans actually wear a circle petticoat under their hanbok? I always wondered how hanbok kept its structure. When I watch kdramas and the girls sit down in hanbok and do their royal bows, it doesn’t look like there’s a metal hoop inside. It just looks like the dress material is extremely poofy and structured and there are other poofy layers inside, but probably no metal?
