I try to pay 30 dollars or less for most of the games on Nintendo Switch. You mentioned some awesome titles for sure. Sifu is a joy to play. Cuphead took me what feels like an eternity to beat lol. I’m currently padding out my Switch and PS4 collections since prices are much more reasonable as of late.

I've had a Switch for a few years now but I haven't done as much gaming on it as I would like to, simply because of the prices. Great vid Callum. I agree wholeheartedly, the Switch has got me back on board the gaming train. Recently I have really enjoyed the steamworld games and Ori. Some great titles due out this year too. I have also got into collecting the Super Rare games as I believe these are going to be the most wanted in future years and hard to get. Celeste cost me a pretty packet but am glad to have it in my collection. I found my first charity shop Switch game recently and guess what it was a fifa game 😢, still it was cheap so I had it. Keep doing what you are doing mate 👊🏼

I had to scan that library at the start and you’ve got some belters. Shantae, Blazing Chrome, Blasphemous, Hollow Knight and Golf Story. Man how good is Golf Story lol. A great list and one I thought I was going to have everyone, but alas I was missing some of them. You’re not wrong about Horgihugh, man is that game tough, but very addictive. Andro Dunos II is a great game too and you’re right the soundtrack to its is rockin. The Cotton games are great and have seen a bit of a revival of late, both loads of the series now available on the Switch and PS4. I’d also recommend Cotton Fantasy if you can get it at a good price. Take it easy Callum.

I stopped playing my switch as much since I got a steam deck last year and a PS5 for crimbo but there's something about the console which always brings me back. Now it's the Ori Collection which I picked up from CEX. The graphics/art style look so good on the OLED version and I'm really enjoying the first game, hopefully moving on to the second one soon. Great vid as always mate.
Good tips G. There's a decent platforming type game for ps4/5 and switch called FIST (Forged in Shadow Torch). Odd name but looks really good. Amazon currently have a steelbook limited edition on sale for about £25 though not many copies left.
Good timing - I got a Switch just a couple of weeks ago. I was in two minds about it as I already have many of the games I'm interested in on PS4 (I love the pixel art 16/32-bit style games like you). Because of that (plus those games are almost always cheaper on PS4) I don't expect to buy many games for the Switch but I'm picking up a handful of replayable classics (like Mario Kart) and I've downloaded a few arcade games which don't have physical copies. Also looking forward to the new Zelda of course, as I loved Breath of the Wild on the Wii U.
CupHead is such a great game! We had such a fantastic time with it too. That when we weren’t deliriously mad! Sifu is well worth the price of admission. Yup, not an easy one but compared to CupHead 😂 Shredders Revenge is a great pick up as well. Love that you did a switch video, especially on those that have come down in price because it’s a rare occurrence for sure. Side note - happy you fixed the angle of the side camera. Now you don’t play a disappearing act 😂

Yup my switch collection is going through the roof this year, so many great releases especially on playasia though not cheap obviously, so far this year my focus has been switch and ps1 and I'm loving it, getting some bangers on a budget ATM

Picked up Owlboy on my trip to Italy a few years ago (visiting my family) and found it a bit frustrating till close to the end when i found out i can upgrade my character and that made things considerably easier. ^^ RIME has a far better performance on PS4 and XBOX afaik. Didn't play it, but i have the PS4 version in my collection. Andro Dunos 2 is the last 3ds game released physically. I have that version in my collection. :D Shreddars Revange is a fun short game. did only one playthrough with a party of 4. was a bit easy but fun. Great and funny video as always. It is always a joy to watch you and see your passion for video games!

Random question mate. But after a few CEX Roulette fails, games without manuals - you know the pain. My question is, when you're trading games into cex do you send the manuals with them or do you sell them separately? I've always sent the manuals, as i thought it was the 'right' thing to do but it seems as though more and more people are not doing this and selling the manuals separately for more coin, is this the right way to go? Even though it's essentially just adding to the problem. So frustrating when the game comes incomplete.
I know your into your arcade racers and i definitely recommend a game for the Nintendo Switch called “cruis'n blast”. Its such a fun time and in my opinion a great game.

I love collecting for the switch ! Iv heard a lot about owl boy but Iv not got a copy for myself or tried it yet. But very desirable from launch it seems. Iv not even seen Rime (if that’s how it’s spelt) Do you share your switch code ? I picked up a Switch with the release of the OLED model & I love it. (I have loved most Nintendo Consoles) like yourself I'm a big fan of Breath of the wild & am Very excited for Tears of the Kingdom. I have Played Shredders Revenge on Games Pass & agree its a classic title. I my go to Switch games tend to be JRPG's & of course Mario Kart 🙂Crackin Video As Always. Keep up the good work.
That's an incredibly solid list of games. A couple there I haven't played but the majority of them kept my interest all the way to 100% trophies and achievements on other systems. Your right about cuphead, I wish every game made you feel that great when you best it. Owlboy is Def a standout. It also has a lovely special edition available. Rayman legends is by far what I would consider the greatest 2d platformer ever released.
@@RetroGhetto I wont spoil anything but I've heard quite a few people throw in the towel towards the end of owlboy, i doubt it will be anything but a walk in the park for a cuphead veteran haha, but there is something you can do to make the last boss and later parts of the game much easier.

The Switch is the GOAT. I’m lucky to know a guy who gets them cheap when they go on sale at a supermarket here. I’m talking £5 each. So we do swaps. I’ve about 30 I haven’t touched but one day, I’ll get the time. Also that Rayman game is awesome!
The sheer elation when you did cuphead, that will forever be remembered 😂🤣 I have to be honest the switch is still a little out of my collecting pay bracket. The example that I have used before was "rad rogers" PS4 £1.99>"rad rogers" switch £14.99 🙄 Saying that though, the switch is a pretty good machine and one that I use mainly for digital....those digital eshop sales are brilliant. Hopefully prices come down a little more 🙏🤣😂 Nice vid mate 😁

Some body besides me has Horgihugh and Friends. Wow...bought it last summer but haven't gotten around to playing it. I rarely buy full-priced titles. I think the last deal was Valkyria Chronivles 4 for $15. I need to get to that one as well.
I can't wait for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. But I think my next pick up for the switch will be Kirby and the Forgotten Island or TMNT Cowabunga Collection.
Nintendo games generally hold their price.....unless for some reason, they're wii games. I've seen some both good and interesting games on the wii that are stupidly low in price considering the system it's on. Mad World is a very unique game that's only 3 quid in cex. No more heroes a suda 51 title is 4 quid, although its sequel on that same system is a bit more at 18. Interestingly, I did learn while googling that the 3rd in that series is available for switch as well. Suda 51 has the distinction of having the most expensive game for ps2 in cex. The wii at the moment seems to be a very ovedlooked system that has some stupidly cheap games. I can only assume no ones collecting for it due to its motion controls. Which admittedly is the one reason that puts me off as well. But it might be worth me taking another look at that system while the cheap games are still available. Oh, sin and punishment 2 as well a sequel to a very highly rated n64 game by treasure studio. Most of their games are highly sought after for good reason and usually go up in price over time. And that klonoa door to phantomile also got a remake for the wii as well. That's a little higher in price but still massively lower in price compared to the ps1 original
I've got a story to tell you yesterday I was on my local Facebook marketplace just had a look see what I could find and I came across a Nintendo switch game I was actively seeking and the price was 20 pound I immediately asked about it the person told me they still had it and even more importantly they was willing to deliver me I of course said yes please and a couple of hours later they turned up at my home with the game in question which I of course gave them the 20 pound and the game was Mario kart 8 deluxe boxed and complete which by far is my best purchase of the year so far it's currently at time of me writing this comment selling in cex for 42 pounds so for me to get it for 20 pounds saving me 22 pounds I'm delighted man over the moon and yeah all good I do have some plans to get boxes for my loose Nintendo ds games which is proving difficult as always love your content man and I think I did extremely well to get Mario kart 8 that cheap what do you think?
Still too expensive for me (I’ve never played on a Switch) I’m going to wait a few more years and pick up anything that looks interesting for £1-£2 a pop. There’s plenty of retro games to play and collect until then.

I picked up a Switch with the release of the OLED model & I love it. (I have loved most Nintendo Consoles) like yourself I'm a big fan of Breath of the wild & am Very excited for Tears of the Kingdom. I have Played Shredders Revenge on Games Pass & agree its a classic title. I my go to Switch games tend to be JRPG's & of course Mario Kart 🙂Crackin Video As Always. Keep up the good work.

That's an incredibly solid list of games. A couple there I haven't played but the majority of them kept my interest all the way to 100% trophies and achievements on other systems. Your right about cuphead, I wish every game made you feel that great when you best it.
Owlboy is Def a standout. It also has a lovely special edition available.
Rayman legends is by far what I would consider the greatest 2d platformer ever released.

@@RetroGhetto I wont spoil anything but I've heard quite a few people throw in the towel towards the end of owlboy, i doubt it will be anything but a walk in the park for a cuphead veteran haha, but there is something you can do to make the last boss and later parts of the game much easier.

The Switch is the GOAT. I’m lucky to know a guy who gets them cheap when they go on sale at a supermarket here. I’m talking £5 each. So we do swaps. I’ve about 30 I haven’t touched but one day, I’ll get the time. Also that Rayman game is awesome!

I have to be honest the switch is still a little out of my collecting pay bracket. The example that I have used before was "rad rogers" PS4 £1.99>"rad rogers" switch £14.99 🙄
Saying that though, the switch is a pretty good machine and one that I use mainly for digital....those digital eshop sales are brilliant.
Hopefully prices come down a little more 🙏🤣😂

Nintendo games generally hold their price.....unless for some reason, they're wii games. I've seen some both good and interesting games on the wii that are stupidly low in price considering the system it's on. Mad World is a very unique game that's only 3 quid in cex. No more heroes a suda 51 title is 4 quid, although its sequel on that same system is a bit more at 18. Interestingly, I did learn while googling that the 3rd in that series is available for switch as well. Suda 51 has the distinction of having the most expensive game for ps2 in cex. The wii at the moment seems to be a very ovedlooked system that has some stupidly cheap games. I can only assume no ones collecting for it due to its motion controls. Which admittedly is the one reason that puts me off as well. But it might be worth me taking another look at that system while the cheap games are still available. Oh, sin and punishment 2 as well a sequel to a very highly rated n64 game by treasure studio. Most of their games are highly sought after for good reason and usually go up in price over time. And that klonoa door to phantomile also got a remake for the wii as well. That's a little higher in price but still massively lower in price compared to the ps1 original

I've got a story to tell you yesterday I was on my local Facebook marketplace just had a look see what I could find and I came across a Nintendo switch game I was actively seeking and the price was 20 pound I immediately asked about it the person told me they still had it and even more importantly they was willing to deliver me I of course said yes please and a couple of hours later they turned up at my home with the game in question which I of course gave them the 20 pound and the game was Mario kart 8 deluxe boxed and complete which by far is my best purchase of the year so far it's currently at time of me writing this comment selling in cex for 42 pounds so for me to get it for 20 pounds saving me 22 pounds I'm delighted man over the moon and yeah all good I do have some plans to get boxes for my loose Nintendo ds games which is proving difficult as always love your content man and I think I did extremely well to get Mario kart 8 that cheap what do you think?

Cotton reboot was for me a bit of a disappointment, I don't feel there's much replay value but it was good the first time round.
