Yeah, as a player of NA Server, I have experienced so many games where all 4 other teammates lacked the awareness and let winions end game. THAT'S HOW LOW NA SERVER IS. 🤣🤏
was one of the craziest endings i've ever seen - for TL to bring it back like that and lose to minions must have been soul crushing
what makes it worse is APA called for the minion but Impact/CoreJJ pretty much said to him nah we got it lol
@@nirvash241It's not a call, he asked because someone in their team is keeping up the timing on everything. If they timed the bot and mid inhib respawn correctly, their nexus will be invulnerable even if the winions got in. They're correct with the bot inhib but not on the exact time difference with mid inhib, which is 25 seconds away.
They ace flyquest...should be able to one person down to distract the minion while other push mid...it isnt that hard.
Impact could have easly backed, he TPd from the wolf brush to mid lane instead of just going back and TP to the team later🤣 absolute clown show

He asked, because someone in their team is timing everything. It's a huge miscalculation if they thought that if both bot and mid inhib respawn their nexus is safe since the difference of bot and mid inhib respawning is 25 seconds. In another scenario, they might judged that the bot inhib respawn will take minion agro instead of them marching to their nexus. If that were to happen, minions will destroy the inhib, face another wave before reaching the nexus, which will win them the game even if everything played out as it is.
its all miscalculation and truly their own mistakes. They should ignore Busio, they have Lilia + grub + tris, yet they took 2-3s only to kill Leona (heck APA even said to ignore busio and go straight for turret). Just tank the turret with Ksante & rell, what leona can do? you still had Grub minion as aggro
ofc it safer to ask someone to back, but Bwipo is ready with his TP, so both of them have to make a decision (even Fly thinks they going to lose, but Bwipo said he can end with TP if Busio can buy his a little time)
I remember watching the LCS championship with my college buddies back in 2014… 12 deep in a dirty apartment. Sad to see it go a decade later.
Dont worry, they are coming back next year but it will be a merged league with south american leagues. But it's the end of an era and they are expected to rebrand thus the end of the "LCS".

Lol APA called that someone should answer bot, APA then called that going for nexus meant ignoring Busio, and his team ignored him both times. He was a good teammate and followed the team, but listening to him instead of ignoring his calls would have at least meant avoiding such an embarrassing loss

They couldn't ignore Busio. The turrets had back door protection, and they needed the minions in range to break it. You can see that in a replay when them hitting the turrets was barely moving the health bar until the minions got close enough, then they started to chunk them down.
The call for someone to back was good, the call to ignore Busio was bad.
I was there! I'd never been to a live league event but I traveled to LA for the last 2 days! It was so exciting and fun, I'm really happy I went. This moment was insane and I can't believe I was there to witness it.
such a great move letting doublelift and bjergsen carry the trophy - they deserved it!

If you watch the mini map they pinged botlane a few times. Someone made the call to race it and they lost.
Betting that a race was better than playing safe is weird. FLY could lose that game and still not be out of the finals, there really is no reason for them to baserase in a game 4 when losing the game hangs on it :P But im happy :D go flyquest!

I can't say I will miss it because realistically I stopped watching lcs 5 years ago but I am sad it has ended. Despite being from the EU when getting into league from around season 3 I would only ever watch lcs. The casters the hosts the players the games I just loved everything about lcs so much more than any other region. I don't really know what happened but at some point lcs lost its magic. Feels weird that I can't even think why now but regions that could easily be seen as "boring" started feeling much more enjoyable to watch. LEC and LCK were so much better to watch and listen to than lcs. Even with the super low budget minimum set up that LCK had for the english hosts it still felt like better quality than lcs in the later years.
I really don't know what happened to lcs to lose the magic but I know I am far from the only one who felt that way as I remember it being something that was pulling 100-150k viewers every week even in normal split games to barely getting 10k and for finals before this last one would peak at 20-50k (and no it wasn't just because of co streams that is a cop out fake answer and you know it)
Watching this live was the funniest shit ever everyone went absolutely bonkers

@@giogiolachance4313 Definitely not. That nexus would die in about 1.5 seconds (maybe not even) with all of them attacking it. Bwipo still needed another 3 for his TP.
out of those 4200 something games, i must have watched around 4000 of them. ive been a fan of this league since the beginning of it, and when this series ended, i freaking cried, man. ive been so invested in this league for so long, and i cant believe its over.
i know there will still be NA pro teams and players, and even on broadcast we will still probably see mostly the same faces, but it feels like its over now. i spent all of my 20s and some of my 30s watching this.
This looks like the first insane base-race that I've ever seen on pro tournament besides Dota 2, damn.

League players cant comprehend base races or defending too complicated lol
Tbf, they were racing against Garen’s timer.
By looking at how close it was, they probably could afford the support to recall and hold the bot wave (and APA even made the call), but if they didn’t finish the game there, they would be out of their turn, inside the enemy base, with their nexus open, that’s a really tough spot. They weren’t 100% sure of the timing, but they already committed to end the nexus, so the decision to not defend base and focus everything on the nexus to win the race makes sense (although the decision was wrong).
Also, take in consideration the pressure of that match, they couldn’t afford to lose, and that was the window of opportunity to win, if they didn’t have enough damage to win the race against Garen respawn, and only the support was there to hold him, they could’ve lost. It is easy to analyze after the result, but a split second decision, where the correct call depends on an estimate of damage output that could go either way isn’t.
@@laersonverissimo1715 Garen is a non-factor in this. They miscalculated and made a bad decision, plain and simple. The decision to not to go back is because their inhibitors are respawning in a few seconds, and it's either let the minions take down the bot inhib, face a wave before hitting the nexus (which didn't happen) or let the minions in until mid inhib respawn which is basically making the nexus untargettable. What they're wrong with is there's a gap of 25 seconds between bot and mid which basically when the minions ended the game. It's simpler to think that they could've sent someone and lured the minion away but at times like that they could've got tunnel-visioned and think it's better to have all 5 players to somehow tank some damage from turrets or even from the next respawning enemy champion.
The second glaring mistake is allowing Leona to get near their minion wave, which allows her to get aggro'd and lure them away from the turrets for 6 seconds. APA could've Buster Shot her away from the wave after the mid inhib falls but he didn't.

people saying it was a CRAZY ENDING but for real, it was embarrassing, how no one tried to back and defend or atleast stall the incoming minions while the rest try to end. LCS is really doomed and merging cant help change them, heck, they might even get bodied by merging teams 😂

Only NA team reach worlds is Cloud9 and that was 2014-2020 Cloud9, this new Cloud9 is actually mid asf.
Regardless, I want to see C9 rule NA once again, though with the new region, we can hopefully get worlds finals and not dropout of 3rd or 4th place.

it served the purpose to show that it really SHOULD have ended.
And with this, it all went full circle and NA is finally a part of the minor regions, together with Brazil and Mexico. Now we need to find a way to get EU in there as well, and finally Worlds would be what it should have been all along: A China vs Korea brawl.
Seems like a better way to do this, would be to have the 3 separate leagues, and then do an Americas tournament, and the top 3 teams of that tournament go to worlds. Seems like a big ask to have the SA and LA teams play in the US for the whole year... and maybe even year upon year if they're good enough.

I get that they're both a shithole region, but at least they made it enjoyable for THEIR OWN regions. Next season, all it will manage to do is for the remaining 6 LCS teams to get a free punching bag with.
I'll be honest. I expect Brazil to consume the LCS in maybe two years tops. With access to better oppenents they might actually be a threat..

In reality, all 3 Americas regions are suffering heavy losses year after year and Riot chose the best alternative to “reset” and build a new foundation on what was previously a dying star. So how do I watch what actually happened and went down ? all were seeing is that team storming the base and the game ending with the other team winning
Basically it's the lapse of judgement. All 5 of them went to the enemy base even though they recognized the threat of minions destroying theirs thinking that they had enough time to bust their enemy's first. So they got beat by literal NPCs because only 1 player from the opposing team was active at the time and it still was on their own base.

@@Obito1994 All we have right now is from the broadcast. They have a small screen on the bottom left where you can see how minions are advancing to the nexus but if you watched it on a stream partner they likely put their camera on top of it so you can't see much of it. If someone can make a deep dive using game replay that'll paint a better picture of this.
