    Thank you for this brilliant interview. He does a lot of things successfully. He loves France and has a few connections like CHAMPAGNE POMMERY, Baccarat, MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS. I hope he will be known well in France.

    I agree. Endless Rain would be a great first song to introduce people to Yoshiki. I would also recommend people check out Silent Jealousy and Art of Life. I would also catch him live if you can. I've been a fan of X Japan for a while and it's so cool to see him do an interview with Eve / France 24. Was

    /i agree, Endless Rain, but from the Last Live concert, it made me fall in love with X Japan, the original video for the song might be a little distracting (big hair) for the people that are not into 80s hair metal;), a little background: Toshi (vocal) and Yoshiki (piano/drums) are childhood friends and it's supposed to be their last concert before break up (they reunite years later but nobody knew it at the time), few month after the guitarist HIDE d*es so it's his last performance with the band which makes it even more emotional to watch.

    The reason XJAPAN was successful in Japan was because of the wonderful vocalist TOSHI and other members including HIDE. YOSHIKI has a monopoly on XJAPAN. The overseas media should do more research on YOSHIKI. He doesn't have a good reputation in Japan.

    • @rocklol2335
      @rocklol2335 8 месяцев назад

      I agree, Toshi's voice reminds me of Goku turning into super saiyan;] and HIDE was like from another world with his skills and the image, but Yoshiki composed great songs for them to perform, I don't know about the drama around him

    Giving this liar such exposure is disgusting. You should have done more homework. The sales number he claimed he has is a lie. XJAPAN sold 11 million copies of singles and albums total not 30 million nor 50 million and he surely is not the most successful musician in Japan. He has a history of using the death of his band mates as a side note to his “dramatic sad talent” story. He broke up with the lead-singer of XJAPAN due to long-term metal harassment he performed on the singer and other financial issues. He IS THE SHAME of Japanese music industry.
