I remember when this video came out, I was 16. Crazy how everything changed since then, but now watching this takes me right back to the same place as back then, emotions, thoughts...

So many people talk of 'this is out of tune, that's out of tune, I should know I'm a musician'
Well I'd hope as an artist you could leap over the classical technical restraints we all conform to and think maybe it was a conscious decision on his part to add another texture to the music, the song is poignant, it's beautifully uncomfortable and that adds another, not so obvious layer to it,
maybe we should all try and get over the rigid restraints of life and get lost in the sheer beauty of things

Well when he plays the 4th fret in the chorus, a F sharp I guess, that doesn't really fit into the key so its sounds wrong. But hey, that s music. Its never perfect. It just expresses what you feel deep inside
Also maybe because it's his song... and he's allowed to experiment

Ive watched most of his videos and read the comments... still no negative comments. I'm not surprised, good music attracts good people
His voice has grown so much, he has a comfortability & ease now. Same depth of emotion but more raw & open now. I know I'll follow everything he does til the day I die. I'll never lose interest in Keaton's art forms, I knew that from the first moment I saw this video several years ago.

Maybe I should mention that I have never cried to any song in my 21 years of existance.
I was fucking 15 learning how to play this song based off nothing but visuals. The main reason why i will never stop playing the guitar was how powerful music can be!

Keaton Henson is the definition of perfection.
His music style is unique and appealing.
He's like the tall awkward guy at school who gets bad grades and hangs around by himself, keeping out of the way of everyone, walks home alone, never plays his guitar in public but when you steal a listen it's the most magical thing on earth.
Revisiting this I still love it so much!!

I think the emotion in this song is both haunting and beautiful at the same time. It is a gift.

Keaton Henson is breathtakingly amazing, I saw him live a few months ago with my best friend and it was one of the best experiences ever as the words were so raw and pure, aw it was perfect.
This is way better than anything that I heard recently... He should be more famous
He is just so wonderfully unassuming. His words are melancholy, but so relatable. He is so wonderfully talented and in the five years since I first heard of him, I've never stopped loving his music.
His vulnerability has an undercurrent of deep sorrow. I think his heart was broken badly and he never quite got over it. He never cried that river, built that bridge and got over it. All the despondency inside of him is slowly coming out in his songs.
Hauntingly beautiful,the kind of song that can give you the most amazing roller coaster of contrasting emotions.
The definition of art is to draw out emotion in the viewer, much like the emotion is brought out by the creator. This is real art people.

What draws more attention to your work and it is amazing compared to others is its sincerity, which is not common nowadays! is screaming how sincere his music proves to be, parabens owns an amazing talent as a musician.
