What it sounds like to me is that yall ain't respecting what gives this man his sexual wellbeing. If the woman wanted the condom with some sob story reason as to why would the typical woman respect that or not? We all know the answer to that question.

If they didn't have sex until marriage and he wasn't having sex the whole 7 months they dated then its going to be extremely sensitive and he will go exrtremly fast. A condom will reduce alot of sensation to help last longer. The only thing that will help is to keep having sex until he gets used to it. Also she need to respect the fact he prefers to use condom. If it was the other way around yall would be dating the same thing.
My knowledge of men and swx as u said over time it should improve... BUT from the letter he makes it seem like this is just him forever bc he doesnt even know what sex with her feels like and he put a condom on right off the bat and everytime after... I would give the same advice if it were a woman needing a condom... 1. Seems a lil sketchy 2. She is old enough to have learned something about her body to have improved her sex life by 53 3. Her and her husband both need to be satisfied during sex and so they need to figure it out... How I feel is thw same no matter the gender.... I can say, though, as a man, those kinds of problems are very damaging to the ego. Even though she may be telling him, " it's ok," "we can work through it," " things will get better "... mentally, we know that the grace won't last but so long if at all, so it's tough. If control is truly his only issue, he is probably scared to death to lose her at all but definitely to lose her over that. He probably has lost a woman before for the same reason and can't fathom trying to bounce back again. That's hard on self-esteem. (No pun intended) Pray for'em. That's a delicate, multitiered problem.

@seekretscorner In some cases, it should improve, but it depends on the mentality that's causing it. If it is nerves, usually after getting used to your partner, it will improve as confidence grows. If a man's idea of sex is rooted in pound, pound, or get up (you know the type), it may not improve. This guy doesn't sound like that type, though, because his conscience is bothering him. It could be that the feeling no condom gets him too excited. There are exercises, and like you said, ways to please that compliment penetration that can be used. Some people have phobia about toys and oral as well. This is why I spoke of this problem being multi-tiered. So many layers to the onion and fixing it, in my opinion depends totally on the individuals involved, the truth or truths of the matter and the acceptance of once finding the solution being able to live with it and execute it as adults. It could be that they can't be together, unwrapping a whole new discussion on covering all bases before marriage. Being adult about one not holding any grudge or being mad at the other one because of a compromise or non-comprmise over said solution. What is a small thing to some, depending on upbringing and environment could be a deal breaker for others. In his case, anytime insecurities are issues a lot of digging has to be done and because they got married before addressing the issue, it is now a two person issue. Sounds like she's willing. If that's the case, the question becomes, "Can buddy be forthcoming enough to get to the bottom of what's causing it. That could be a deep and vulnerable conversation. I'll stop. Too many angles. We'll be here all day.
