Thanks for sharing. I never made it to hole in the wall 🙏. Keep a whistle with you , scare them off before they get too close. Having to use bear spray , too close for comfort!!!!
you use such a nice voice the bear is guna be like " hey that lady sounds nice!! i should go say hello, nicely and calmly lololol!!!! i dont see many bears on my adventures however i run into a COUGAR every once n a while !!!! HOOOOOOYAAAAAA jk great episode!!!!!!! also try putting the hastags in the description rather than the title , i think i read it does something idk lol,, see yah in the next 1!!!
Black bears tend to shy away from human interaction. But when ya see a big black spot and a one or two lil black spots, then you should be nervous. When I could hike, I would hike with my 3 pups. I was out in the woods, hiking a 3 mile loop. I was a 1/4 mile from my truck and had a cub skamper up a tree about 50 feet away. I never turned around so fast in my life. I didn't want to run into momma bear & a cub with 3 dogs. So we hiked back the 3 miles back the other way to the truck. Might be a smart idea to invest in a couple of "bear bells " for when your hiking in the backwoods by yourself. Bear bells are just a small jingle bell that you attach 5o yourself or pack.
