Fun fact, I have been to 3 NASCAR races. 2022 Dover, 2023 Dover, and 2023 Coca Cola 600. Observant people will note how all three of those races were delayed due to rain. For the sake of the community and the sport I have decided to stop attending races in person.

I would put Chicago in C tier for a lot of the same reasons you put the Coliseum there - bag policy, expensive concessions (along with being extremely understaffed, not exactly their fault) and the value for the price was just not there this year. I agree, I left impressed but Nashville and Gateway had wayyyyyy more for much less.

I went to Martinsville this year and we got there a little late, just half an hour before the green- but the lines were super long already because there’s only one or two ways to get in, but what’s even weirder is how the stands are never filled there yet the lines are still terrible

Dover is my home track as well and it’s insanely underrated. It is THE most unique track on the schedule with an awesome atmosphere. I mean the place looks more packed on Mondays than some tracks do now on Sundays. Of course they’ve removed a lot of seats but what track hasn’t? It’s a great experience.

Dover is so unrated it isn’t funny. I live next to Pocono and would rather go to Dover any day. The cars travel so fast through the turns, you’d never know by watching it on tv. You can see the whole track as well so it is fun to watch.

You can't believe that tracks like Kansas or Atlanta wouldn't host Eric with free suites tickets, hotel, and airfare just for their exposure on his channel. That says something about the people running those tracks and their connection to modern advertising. You give Eric some free Martinsville hotdogs and he'll talk about them for years. It's a great investment.

I had been to Texas every year from 2000-2019 and once more in 2021. It wasn't what it used to be. I live an hour from there it was the only track I could drive to to see NASCAR. The repave/reconfigure in 2017 ruined it. I had been to some races (both 2007 and the fall 2010 races) I couldn't sit down the last half of it, they were so exciting. I went to Kansas the year Keselowski won on fuel milage, hottest and most miserable race experience of my life, which is why they have lights now. I've been to Michigan twice, having all access pit passes for a weekend for $40 was worth flying a thousand miles from home, great facility and I went to 2 races that were actually pretty good, and the only other track I went to was Homestead, in '09, race was on my birthday. I liked the track, getting to see the champion crowned in person was pretty awesome, but I didn't have any pit or garage passes, I would like to go give it another chance.

I can tell you from personal experience having lived 20 minutes from Sonoma Raceway my whole childhood and seeing a dozen races there, the viewing angles from the turn 9 terrace are immaculate for a Motorsport fan, unfortunately NASCAR decides to race there in the hottest months in Nor Cal instead of when it’s green with grass. Could be an A tier maybe B, but because so when the race takes place on the schedule it’s a D

Your video got me thinking. NASCAR is willing to drive across the country for the CLASH, why not check out some other , local, tracks and hold the Clash at them. 4 come to mind off hand. Monroe, Washington (former Craftsman Truck Track), Yakima, WA and Roseville, California, and Meridian, Idaho (K&N Track) They are small and I think that it would help raise the interest in small, local tracks. There are MANY good tracks across the country that NASCAR could use for this "Exhibition" style race

Cars running pretty much any line on the track that's available. The only downright bad races I've seen there were the 2019 races with the high downforce package. Those were the worst races I have ever seen in my entire life.

Daytona is DEF Groovy!!!!!! My home track!!!! Also, Homestead Miami is amazing. And a fun fact for you, the lake in homestead is a natural spring and that’s why they had to build around it!

I am cautiously optimistic that on track racing product is not a let down for my home track next year. I really hope they get the package and tire right for the Brickyard 400's big return. There is so much history there and the next gen brings so much potential for an awesome race on the rectangle!

Especially the tire. It's been 15 years since the infamous TireGate race that sparked the recession in NASCAR, after all

@@S.K.R.E.Inc. Oh yes, for sure! I was at that race. It was the last race I attended in person. Then lost interest for, like, a decade. The one thing my friend and I enjoyed about the race itself were all the driver's frequencies on the scanner, and in particular Montoya's 😅

I went to tracks this year. Poconos is ok. For facilities its alittle out of dated needs some upgrades or just maintenance. You need to go to world wide technology raceway its well run facility. Alot of activation as well the infiield access is awesome

I went to the Daytona 500 in 1995 . Sat about half way up on the front stretch and couldn’t see anything. For me it was the worst race as far as knowing what was going on that I’ve ever been to. Rockingham was my favorite track. I’ve been to at least 14 races there. But of the tracks they are still racing I love Darlington!

Bristol is by far #1. I understand your opinion on Daytona and you are not wrong, they have upgraded the amenities quite a bit and you are right this is like going to the "Nascar Super Bowl". I would say having been to the 500 over 6 times the Daytona 500 is exactly like the Super Bowl and for whatever the Super Bowl is it's not typically where you find the best fan atmosphere, it's a great and unique race. If you have been a NASCAR fan for a bit the late summer Talladega race is a better atmosphere, it's a much more "Informed Race Crowd", the metaphor I would use is that 90% of the time the NFC or AFC Championship are a better game and much better atmosphere than the Super Bowl. My opinion best races to attend for a fan are Fall Bristol, Fall Martinsville and Summer Talladega, then Daytona, for that reason I would move Talladega to the top tier.

As form Europe I just have been to Homestead, Disney, Daytona, Dover and Bristol. Dover is my favorite. In future I would like to visit Darlington, Chralotte (or Atlanta, or Texas, I wonder how the fast racing would look at high banked 1.5 mile track), Talladega and Indy!

Martinsville is elite. Ample and free parking. Racing (at least in the past) has been great. Packed house.

I recently heard the comments from Steve Phelps about track sellouts… based on his comments, Kansas and Richmond may lose one of their dates in the future and going back to only 1 date

Good they don't need to be going to some of these places twice. And cut back on the number of races. That is how you downsize. This is not the early or mid 2000's and Nascar is not the hottest thing going now.

I don't follow MotoGP very closely, but it's cool to see Trackhouse expanding their portfolio. No NASCAR team is doing a better job building their brand right now.
