Holy Cow! I came here to adjust my new tablet to my needs and I went away with way more brush/shortcut knowledge than I would have ever expected! Thank you so much!
A question for you I’ve had this tablet for just over 10 years when I WAS using an older PC But have moved to osx my question is, is all that you said years ago still relevant on the Mac app can this also be used on the Mac Thank you Simon Ryan, Coventry Uk
This may have been already mentioned but a word of caution about using one of the tablet "buttons" for Undo. It's possible to have a slight muscle twitch or to reposition your fingers on the pen inadvertently triggering an Undo command that's not caught right away, if at all, possibly losing an important edit.
In Photoshop there is a wider variety of editing options in terms of the "brush" that allow you to be more specific in the area you'd like to edit. Other programs like Lightroom are less specific in that they allow you to edit the photo/piece as a whole, rather than in specific areas. If I'm understanding your questions, you can use lightroom to do photo editing without brush functions (I do believe there is a function in Lightroom that uses a brush, however there are more options for brush-editing in Photoshop), you can use Photoshop to do the same, there is just a wider catalog of editing options in photoshop.

I don't use Photoshop, what's it like on Lightroom or Capture one. Can you use it for all editing
or only functions which need a brush ?
