London-based Nigerian lady Pelumi Nubi travels by road from London to Lagos in a Peugeot 107. In an interview with TVC Pelumi Nubi shares her experience traveling by road from London to Lagos.
Nubi arrived in Lagos on April 7, making her way to the University of Lagos (UNILAG). In November, Nubi announced her intention to embark on a solo trip from London to Lagos. She announced the trip on January 30. During the trip, the Nigerian lady traversed 17 countries beginning from England to France, Spain, and then Morocco.
Nubi thereafter passed through the West Sahara Desert, Mauritania, Senegal, and Gambia. She will also continue through Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, and Benin, before arriving in Lagos. The development comes nearly two years after Kunle Adeyanju, the Nigerian tourist, rode a bike from London to Lagos.
Pelumi had initially announced that she would arrive in Lagos on March 23. However, she said the date had been changed due to border issues she was experiencing in some countries. She also recently disclosed that she was denied entry at the Sierra Leonian and Liberian borders.
