I actually have the five main ones and I like them. Their fashion isn't amazing but I think they are cute. I cheated and used warm water to get rid of the gel, I was totally lazy. All the product washed out and the hair is gorgeous.
I was thinking that I would do that too if I got these. I'm way too impatient to brush out the product, and would definitely end up shampooing her hair.
@@DannyoffireAwaken It is so much quicker and makes no mess at all if you just wash it out. I was the same, I didn't even try to brush it out, I went for the water straight away.
@@DannyoffireAwaken My thoughts exactly. Seriously, through the bulk of the video all I could think was "just use hot water & cream rinse". Always worked when Granny had to help detangle my sister's rat's nest if she didn't tie her hair back before bed.

The black girls hair was so crazy a hot water rinse was a good idea a REALLY GOOD IDEA the red heads hair is so pretty
i think this is a step in the right direction for moose toys since they never made a fashion doll before the idea is cute! even if the execution is a little wonky. the head molds are also really cute even tho the eye makeup is a little much.
Having the accessories in the hair was a pretty clever and funny alternative to plastic wrapping
Except the earrings , I am already missing an earring because they are so small. I am happy that she can kind of wear earrings and I know it is partly my own fault but I wish they had put the earrings in a cute little bag or box or some thing instead of in her hair. 😭😂 I do love the idea of part of the fail is the accessories being "stuck" in the hair! It is part of what sets these dolls apart from other dolls. I also hope they make / include actual robes in the future. And have some extra clothes / accessories included but keep the price the same if possible.
The deluxe set for these dolls actually does come with a fabric robe! And hair dye! It's pretty neat.
Well that's an upgrade! :D
Do you know if the hair dye is temporary? Like chalk or what?
@@Marialla. I believe it's washable, but I haven't tested that yet. It's kind of a gel.
Make up MIGHT be a little over the top, but I say if there's any doll customizers out there that want to give these dolls a new face repaint, then go for it! ^^
I think they have cute faces, but the hair situation (if you just do it like the instruction) is terrible. I literally burst into laughing when I saw the brushed out braids.
Plus, what the hell is that eye wonk, especially the last one. Quality control, who? ^^'

I like the diversity in the skin tones. And the click on face is so fun! And you can do this over and over again with limited mess... it’s really not a terrible product... and I see that articulation! I wish there could be a mark on the bottom to see which doll you are getting (some companies do this). The makeup can be better, but I like the in set eyes. Maybe they should go a bit easier on the product 😂. There is a ton of hair, which is nice. The curler is very fun, and the braids are nice. Again the idea is cute, the most bothersome thing for me is the amount of product in the hair and the pixelated makeup
One complaint I seen for these dolls is that people felt that they were too stereotypical- the asian girl being kawaii, the latin girl being fierce, and the black girl being sporty
I don't mind stereotypes to a certain extent as long as the clothes fit and if there is some variety / inclusion of different body types , hair and eye color , shoes are easy to remove and put back on , ect.

Barbie should try in-set eyes for a collector's doll, I think - I love their well-done faux lashes (which were back in the old-days, mind you), but they haven't experimented much with eye depth, as far as I can remember.

The first doll makes me think of the Jem cartoon and I love it. Well I bought the blonde today and sat in the toy store for a few minutes looking at them trying to peak at what makeup it would be, I got day but its still really cute.

I always love interchangeable faces having vastly different expressions! I'm glad it wasn't like the "colour reveal" Barbies that you can only "reveal" the face once.
The first one (DJ) is giving me Jem and the Holograms vibes with that makeup and dress. Love that facial expression too

Yeah if I ever get these dolls, I HAVE to wash their hair because brushing out product bothers me SO MUCH. Also the evening dolls are so much better because of how cute they are.

I love the two dolls I have (Dance.Stylez and Qtee) but I HAD TO wash that product out. I barely even tried to comb the product out, I could tell it was going to be a hassle. Definitely glad you pointed out the stress on the knee joint, that's really the only thing about them that bothers me. Even the over the top makeup of evening wear grew very much on me.

Not a big fan of the dolls but this was helpful.
1.The hair situation seems frustrating (Who ever thinks you're supposed to brush out braids,obviously didn't consult anyone who actually braids🤣)
2.The make-up is very strong to the point it feels off putting 😔
3.The first dolls overall look for the evening outfit doesn't pop because the dress isn't vibrant enough😬
4. They have a lot of potential tho. I would love to see them be repainted 😃

Its wonderful that the hair doesn't damage when brushing out the product, but I think it'd be cute if they came with a bottle to fill with water so you can brush and style the hair or alternatively wash out the hair. My history with doll hair product often damages the hair and since then I've always went out of my way to use water to rinse it out. I couldn't help but cringe when they had you brush those braids. It'd also be cool if there were more fashions included and different hair style ideas to customize your ideal look and teach kids about different hair styles with different hair textures!

I'm getting tired or toys being sold purely for the one time gimmick instead of a general fun toy that I can do whatever I want with as many times as I want. I'm still upset that monster high was discontinued.

Oh , I hated the "unboxing" part of the process , the way they are packaged really bites! I had to cut so much clear plastic to get to the doll and her stuff. The hardest or one of the hardest "getting the doll out of the package" things I have ever had to deal with. Ugh. But eventually freed her from the evil cardboard and clear plastic crap. 😂

I've seen these dolls at Walmart and I had to do a double-take because I was so confused. I was like, what am I looking at lol So this review is helpful! Not sure why a doll company would release a doll with hair that can't get wet. I get the point of the doll line, but I can't picture a little kid spending that long trying to brush out hair that's meant to be styled. (I laughed so hard at Bowie barking in the background lol) I'd be curious to see if the clothes, shoes, and accessories fit Barbies, especially the curvy ladies since these dolls seem to have bigger bodies. :D

i got a failfix for christmas and my experiance was good it was easy for me to brush out the hair but you gotta be ruff but ya know, dolls may vary, .....
