Speedster looks the cutest and the neatest, in my opinion. I love the design for Angles, but I think the pants were just really messy and I couldn't stop looking at the raw edges.
My favorite is definitely Groovy Babe, since I love the whole monochromatic look as opposed to all those brights. However, even though I'm not a fan of her actual look, I love that Angles looks like a Mondrian painting come to life!
Those backgrounds are making my eyes ache :D Loving the lack of little plastic bags though, that is awesome. Hoping more companies ditch the excess packaging and go for paper, and maybe also ditch the plastic ties for string.

Is that her name ?) so maybe that’s why, I def see the inspiration, but it made me think of like a new twist on the 60s mondrian dress, y’know.... but I might be wrong
It was actually inspired by the work of Mondrian and De Stijl! It makes a lot of sense, especially as quite a few design choices made by the designers in the past were at least somewhat inspired by Memphis

Angles is heavily inspired by Bauhaus. You can see that especially on the shoes. The blue circle, red square and yellow triangle are significant elements you see in Bauhaus.
When I first saw Groovy Babe, she reminded me of epilepsy disorder for some reason. And I actually want to get her despite normally finding LOL OMG dolls too gaudy or colorful most of the time. The black and white is simple but pretty, and her outfit is actually modest, which I like. Next time I find these dolls, I am totally picking her up!

Love the clear tight shots of each doll..this is the series that pulled me into collecting them. I feel Angles shows the best of the Blacklight effect along with Dazzle. Groovy Babe looks amazing in her 60s style, but not the best difference under blacklight. Can't wait to get them all!
Finally, someone who calls ponytails ponytails. I was starting to wonder at the trend of insisting on calling them pigtails (which are braided). I remember playing laser tag in a black lit place and finding out my long johns were glowing. 6_6;
there are 3 layers on the first one is printed the lineart the second is white and on the third are the colors so on the box you see the firs 2 layers and when you pull it you'll see the lineart and the colors (the white layers that's in between them is left back)

I wasn't that fond of the OMG line but the more I see of the line the more I want them. 🙂. All of these dolls have a 60's fib. Especially the dress that is a throw back to Yves St Laurent's designs based on Piet Mondrian's art work. I studied Mondrian's work in art class in college and remember seeing Laurent's cocktail dresses in 1965 in magazines as a little girl. I always loved Mondrian's art work.
