Well that is kinda the point for them, they want a camo for effective for their home turf. Multicam is too bright after a couple washings for a lot of environments that aren't the sandbox. OCP is pretty good, better contrast and color palate. Slocam still seems to offer multi environment performance with just more emphasis on green than tan. All of these patterns seem to lack the visual confusion at the micro scale that Pencott and ConCamo offer at closer distances. They also tend to look like a solid color at greater distance do to lacking enough macro contrast/variation. Man, UF Pro really makes some rare stuff. I didn't even know this pattern existed. Great to know and great review. Seems to work really well I think. It's darker, but somehow not too dark really. I wanna say that there is a bit more contrast between the colors than in the OCP and Multicam, but I am not sure it's that. Obviously, there's more green and less brown and tan generally speaking, but the white blotches are different too. Yeah, a lot of NATO countries are getting on board the Multicam-style train, and even more non-NATO countries. As long as they can afford it, guess not everyone can. It's been a popular thing past ten years especially. Hard to say which ones are best, though. Hard to tell from watching this video too, but I personally think that the OCP is slightly better than the classic Multicam in some cases and Brent's previous videos on those kinda back that thought up. SloCam seems to be better here with more greens and stuff. Anyways, really interesting stuff, always good to see some interesting patterns and some soggy log crushing as well.
So refreshing to see the approach of detail rather than simplicity. In order to perform at a higher level, each one must be able to make the path their own. YES, there are standards and we must have "things" where we all can find them, however each day brings new realities.
Very well done. I'm very impressed with this pattern. Mine is pretty much still Vietnam era Woodland with a little bit of Trashcanistan Army digital my middle daughter came back home with. With the exception of three of the scenes, I didn't know where the f... you were in the others! Keep it coming my friend. The way things are going, us old guys are going to need this knowledge!
I use UF Pro as my duty uniform(in dark navy)...I can say it is the best clothers I used...Combat shirt has shoulder pads, so bullet proof vest is comfortable to wear, and pants has strech material, so you can move free
First and foremost, I salute you and your channel. This UF PRO set appears exceptional and well made. At present, there is no official pattern for US Patriots, which may need rectified sooner than later. Either way...........Rock On !!!
Please do this style of video more. I love the demonstration of camos but at times i wish there was more content. And talking about the uniform and stuff would be cool to see more of.
Hey Brent, I really enjoy these videos. On the more effective patterns, I can usually only spot the shadow from your boonie brim or your armpits. Have you thought about trying to countershade the spots that are always shaded? Using a light tan or green spray paint to paint the inside of the boonie brim, and to dust the armpits and crotch might help. Using a lighter facepaint color on your forehead might help too.
I'd love to see or know your all around top favorite camo patterns for what you find most effective; and then your favorites for specific environments as an addition
I've done over a 100 patterns, I do them as I get them. I'm sure more will come my way. Another problem is I'm over 6 feet tall so those types of uniforms are typically hard to find in my size.
yeah since armed forces in asian countries had a lot of camo patterns we hoped u upload another. some countries probably had 6 feet size uniform like india or south korea
@@Brent0331 If a military has a surplus of camouflage patterns it is looking to sell you could find it and offer to market the old pattern. Im sure some Asian country has a surplus old pattern they are looking to sell, lots of interesting ones out of Myanmar/Burma conflict.
I/m wishing you'd make both a fall and desert video for the testing of effectiveness of the AOR-1 (a desert digital) pattern - I'd really like that. I'm personally curious how it compares to the MARPAT desert pattern, a camo you did before. Also, I suggest you take a look into a camo manufacturer called 'Gulch Gear' and check out their "Cross Cover" camo patterns ..they're pretty interesting. Thanks for the vids and content! I love this channel and I enjoy studying camo and the art of concealment
holy shit this is way more effective than most camo's ive seen on this channel. only knew i saw him twice and saw him a bunch of other times thinking he was stuff like holes in the ground or tree roots and stuff like that.
UF Pro gear looks to be awesome. I have ran crye for years, but am seriously considering switching to UF Pro pants. I have had a couple issues with the crye knee pads coming out, but overall crye makes an incredible product.
Wish US would go with a Tiger Stripe type uniform that had more shades of Greens and Browns, no Black but maybe a Little Dark Grey specks, with a Little Digital pattern added randomly
Great video. Need to see when someone hires you for a camo pattern design called Brent0331 tactical effect and useful camo. But we don't know why it's called as such???Slav squat demo'd at 10:45
Interesting thank you! Seems you've been sponsored by them hahaha no one can efford this much of Equipment without selling an kidney. Good to see your content in Full HD! I personally would stick to concamo but slocam will work in dark, heavily vegetated environment's, because of it's green dominace. Not even near as versatile as concamo but that's something personal. This Tarn leads in very single manner. Btw we still waiting for an other CONCAMO Part
Great video as usual. This particular pattern is a tad too dark for this enviroment and it seems that it absorbs too much light making it stand out as dark silhouette against most of the vegetation and background. Not the best pattern in this light green and light earth enviroment IMO. Also even the zippers have zippers here :D Being a hater of zippers that always break and spill the content of my pockets when I least want it too this is not a system I would personally use. I prefer any kind of button, strings or even velcro to zippers for closing pockets. P.S. Have anyone ever made combat trousers with an exterior velcro knee attachment for knee pads?
Hope the Striker X will come out in Slocam. Slocam is really cool to mix with regular Multicam. So it´s not something to buy and to rot in your wardrobe cause you can't combine it with nothing.
Multicam needed a little more green. Slovenia did the great job-I think this camo will be great for the whole Balkan-it could fit great in Serbia and Bosnia landscape too. So I will try to obtain my set

Lovely stuff. Like modern cars though, they all start converging towards some ideal .... and kind of look the same. Kudos to the Germans for Liebermuster back in '44. Big takeaway from your "wheres wally" vids though - the cam pattern itself will get you only so far ... its really up to the man inside the kit to make smart choices about shape / shadow / noise / movement, etc. if you want to stay alive.
Amazing details at the Garments. Looks realy good, l like it. But here in Germany these three Items you´ve shown us would cost me about 350 Euro/410 Dollar..... Oh boy, thats hard.... Thanks for showing, like your videos for years now. Best Regards Torsten

Can you try effectivness of AČR (Army or Czech Republic) camoflague Vz. 95 and Vz.60 camoflague. Thanks and with best regards Tomas from Czech Republic
Interesting, like a fusion between Multicam and Multicam Tropic, still with so much green in it to do well in darker, more temperate forests and woodlands. Seems to have almost the same colors in it as ConCamo, but with a more simple, "Multicam style" pattern. Some patterns from the Northern hemisphere countries really seem to stand out, if the wearer is free from darker cover vegetation, out in the open, so to say, and become a dark rectangular shape against any lighter background. This is also a little dark, but seems to be better still than the darkest examples. In my non professional opinion, at least. :o) Designed with "multi" in mind, still, but a little less deserts and rocky mountains in focus, but various examples of woodlands and grasslands? Interesting non the less. Just my thoughts as mentioned, :o) Nice work and day as usual.
@@JohnWick_jr OK, I do not know that, but many places have dark vegetation, my thinking is just, that some of these darker camo's are too dark for anything but sittin, hiding in a defensive position waiting for the enemy to show up. Out in the open they seem almost black. I am not a soldier or tactical person though, just interested in the camouflage "science" or so to say, for fun, so it is just my personal "hobby" thoughts. Thanks for the reply though, I will look it up and take a look. Nice day no matter what!!
Maybe I am wrong, but the knee pads did not seem to have drain holes, so its kinda pointless having the drain holes in the other pockets if you're just going to have to dump the water out of the knee pads. Velcro i feel like is not tough enough, it just fills with shit and falls apart. I feel lots of people take short cuts. Having good camo is great but if it falls apart and isn't durable, seems like its not the right uniform.
@brent0331 at the beginning of the video when you are explaining the uniform, what came pattern were you wearing? It looks like that would work great here in Florida. Thanks in advance.
You gotta' love those Slovaks. Damn pant engineers!! I have a few pairs of Nothface Paramount pants. And they have a similar cord lok on the pant legs. Pretty cool. Like the hat, except could the cordlok be used as a choke from someone behind?? That said.....I like it👏👏👏

Brent what’s a good boot that you recommend that won’t cost me a fortune, for a warm environment (South Georgia)? Most people would say jungle boots, but I need a little more protection from water than that.
Man I am not the person to ask for boots. I wear Marine Corps issue all the way. I hear people bitch and complain about them all the time. I come from the suck it the fuck up generation so I wear standard issue, nothing designed to not hurt a squirrel if you step on it.
It might be the high contrast image but the lack of light gave away your position, you always occupied one of the darkest segments of the image. Do you get camo with light patches or some sort of on/off thermochromic tech (I had to google that word) to compensate day/night requirements? All useless of course if we’re fighting robots in the future. Thumbs up for interesting vid
Yeah he particularly liked Rhodesian Brushstroke as an all terrain pattern. Good luck getting it however, you'd have to snag it while in stock from Fireforce Ventures. I think this works pretty well too imo

I say that was mildly successful I was able to point out your position in all but one of those tests and in two of them while I pointed out your position I wasn't quite certain if that was actually you or not the problem is that the green didn't match the vegetation that was around you where there was dark or vegetation it Blended in better but where there was later vegetation yeah I could point you out no problem

@@ericmckinley7985 Thanks
Yeah, I actually wasn't aware of this one as well until they mentioned it to me.
I remember being subscribed to your channel when you only had maybe a few thousand subscribers. Awesome to see this channel come a long way.
Thanks for staying in the fight brother. hopefully we can grow more.
Looks the same as Multi-Cam but with more green in it. I think I like it better than what we use. Thanks, didn't know about this pattern!
I'm a huge fan of UF Pro and I like the fact that a zip in cold weather liner can be added to these pants as well.
I really like slocam, great for european forests. MC/OCP is bit too light imoh.
I dyed my OCP in Rit last week and it looks a lot better than this. I'll post a video showing it for you to see.
@@thefrontierranger440 share the link here so we can find it.
I agree, this is better for heavy vegetation.
CROPAT woodland is also good for european forests
@@bruhmoment5042 yep the Finnish one is pretty good too. Belgian jigsaw gets my heart because it's my country tho.
I think these videos have just trained my eyes to find you better. I’m getting better at spotting you.
It looks like a winner. Thanks, and please keep posting your informative and entertaining videos.
Thanks
Aye, Slocam. UF Pro gear is top shelf.
Thanks brother.
Greetings from Slovenia🇸🇮😁
Hmm pretty effective, little dark but blends well in shadows.
I like this along with the features I'd call it great cammo.
Kudos to designers.
Please do this style of video more. I love the demonstration of camos but at times i wish there was more content. And talking about the uniform and stuff would be cool to see more of.
Great video and great camo for Northern European woodlands. The green palette is certainly better than MTP/Multicam
Another amazing upload, thanks for sharing!
I leave that for the viewers to decide.
Alpenflage, the camo for any occasion...
Yet another fantastic video sir. Thank you for the share.
Nice camo, good for hunting and trapping. Can you do some Eastern camos? Like some Vietnamese or Filipino camos?
Nice vid man!
I've done over a 100 patterns, I do them as I get them. I'm sure more will come my way. Another problem is I'm over 6 feet tall so those types of uniforms are typically hard to find in my size.
@@Brent0331 Ohh that makes a lot of sense, knowing asian uniforms hardly come to around to 6 feet. Well maybe someday right?
yeah since armed forces in asian countries had a lot of camo patterns we hoped u upload another. some countries probably had 6 feet size uniform like india or south korea
@@Brent0331 If a military has a surplus of camouflage patterns it is looking to sell you could find it and offer to market the old pattern. Im sure some Asian country has a surplus old pattern they are looking to sell, lots of interesting ones out of Myanmar/Burma conflict.
I look forward to the Concamo video... I saw you were wearing it.
Already done brother, 2 of them!
What a fine rig. A must have. The best yet.
Slocam works surprisingly well in the deep redwoods
The velcro pads are what gave you away nearly every time though
I/m wishing you'd make both a fall and desert video for the testing of effectiveness of the AOR-1 (a desert digital) pattern - I'd really like that. I'm personally curious how it compares to the MARPAT desert pattern, a camo you did before. Also, I suggest you take a look into a camo manufacturer called 'Gulch Gear' and check out their "Cross Cover" camo patterns ..they're pretty interesting. Thanks for the vids and content! I love this channel and I enjoy studying camo and the art of concealment
I like these types of videos..identify the hidden man in camouflage in the field!!
Thanks that you reviewed my countrys camo!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@Brent0331 no problem!
Great work man as always Semper FI. Well a nice version multicam.
Thanks S/F
holy shit this is way more effective than most camo's ive seen on this channel. only knew i saw him twice and saw him a bunch of other times thinking he was stuff like holes in the ground or tree roots and stuff like that.
Love these videos! Would love to see more gear overviews/reviews
More will come.
Multi-Cam and its variations really is the best overall/universal camo pattern. Certainly has the braodest effectiveness.
"I like it more than multicam," he says in the way of a backhanded compliment.
I like Slovakia and that camo pattern.
Nice one!! Defcon 5 multiland during the winter would be a nice test
I liked the trousers till I saw the price then chuckled wryly and moved on. Great video as always.
UF Pro makes top notch gear - definitely worth the price.
Dang it.....I think these ARE the BEST Pant's and Shirt offered from anywhere.......I shore like Em' 👍🏽
Effective camo, the first two clips I couldn't spot you. After transitioning to look for dark shadows, it was alot more easier.
Another good video.
Thanks
Awesome demonstration of crushing a skull.
Thanks.
ever think of doing Helikon's "Forest Legion" pattern?
Maybe in the future.
Great video. Need to see when someone hires you for a camo pattern design called Brent0331 tactical effect and useful camo. But we don't know why it's called as such???Slav squat demo'd at 10:45
Ha don't hold your breath.
@@Brent0331 I won't, but they'll hire the camo guy but we can't fine him. He that good.
That's a cool camo.i like the " cut " of the set indeed
Yeah, it pretty nice.
i am wondering if you could please do a video on different ways to camouflage a pack?
Great video! The first one was quite easy, but after that... no chance! By the way, I‘m waiting for the Swiss TAZ 90 camo, mate! 😅
Great video as usual.
This particular pattern is a tad too dark for this enviroment and it seems that it absorbs too much light making it stand out as dark silhouette against most of the vegetation and background.
Not the best pattern in this light green and light earth enviroment IMO.
Also even the zippers have zippers here :D
Being a hater of zippers that always break and spill the content of my pockets when I least want it too this is not a system I would personally use. I prefer any kind of button, strings or even velcro to zippers for closing pockets.
P.S. Have anyone ever made combat trousers with an exterior velcro knee attachment for knee pads?
Thanks
@Leon It can also be a property of the camera he uses, or my tv screen.
My score was 4/10 spotted soldiers. It is pretty good. Of the times I spotted you it was because your outline was dark against a light background.
Wow! He sounds like Dan Akroid in "Blues Brothers".
EXCELLENT VIDEO! THANKS FOR SHARING! BEST REGARDS 👍
Thanks
Hope the Striker X will come out in Slocam. Slocam is really cool to mix with regular Multicam. So it´s not something to buy and to rot in your wardrobe cause you can't combine it with nothing.
Multicam needed a little more green. Slovenia did the great job-I think this camo will be great for the whole Balkan-it could fit great in Serbia and Bosnia landscape too. So I will try to obtain my set
Slocam: MC Woodland
were all switching to similar camouflage soon we'll all look alike in uniform
A « Camouflage Effectiveness » video with the Russian Pink Desert camouflage should be interesting
Another great job.
Thanks
@@Brent0331 sorry haven't replied In awhile but they found a abnormality in my heart so thinks aren't too normal right now but I am very thankful for your channel.
Sorry to hear that brother. Keep fighting the good fight.
@@Brent0331 thanks brother.
Lovely stuff. Like modern cars though, they all start converging towards some ideal .... and kind of look the same. Kudos to the Germans for Liebermuster back in '44.
Big takeaway from your "wheres wally" vids though - the cam pattern itself will get you only so far ... its really up to the man inside the kit to make smart choices about shape / shadow / noise /
movement, etc. if you want to stay alive.
Amazing details at the Garments. Looks realy good, l like it. But here in Germany these three Items you´ve shown us would cost me about 350 Euro/410 Dollar..... Oh boy, thats hard....
Thanks for showing, like your videos for years now.
Best Regards Torsten
Yup, its not cheap. Its definitely not surplus prices, this is higher end clothing.
I wanna know what rig you use. I like your vest and everything as far as attire and I want something similar. You are pretty much invisible and it’s quite impressive
Can you try effectivness of AČR (Army or Czech Republic) camoflague Vz. 95 and Vz.60 camoflague. Thanks and with best regards Tomas from Czech Republic
I've done a few Czech patterns, check out my playlist.
@@Brent0331 oh i didn't see it i will look again, thanks for telling me.
@@Brent0331 yep i found both of them, thanks again. I will now see how much is Vz.95 and Jehličí camoflague effective.
Can you do a video on the Starry Sky Digital camo
Hey brutha, just stumbled onto this review, killer work. Ima fellow 31 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 what do u like better, flecktarn or this slocamo?
There is a darker vegetation in Slovenia. Think of the Yosemite national park to get a picture.
Nice day no matter what!!
great video thanks
Отлично, как всегда!)Fine!
That is a great pattern.
Ranger Green next?
Maybe I am wrong, but the knee pads did not seem to have drain holes, so its kinda pointless having the drain holes in the other pockets if you're just going to have to dump the water out of the knee pads. Velcro i feel like is not tough enough, it just fills with shit and falls apart. I feel lots of people take short cuts. Having good camo is great but if it falls apart and isn't durable, seems like its not the right uniform.
This pattern is made for Slovenian territory. It was developed for national defence this is why it is more greenish than tanish.
Well thought out and designed, but man, you are gonna pay for it
Yup, not cheap.
Awesome 👍👍👍👍👍
That's good stuff 👍🏽
thats our camo💪
Very effective👍👍👍
Good design!
@brent0331 at the beginning of the video when you are explaining the uniform, what came pattern were you wearing? It looks like that would work great here in Florida. Thanks in advance.
Kevin Lee concamo- uf pro makes it
Yes, its Concamo, also offered by UF Pro, I have two other videos about it too.
Anyone know what color carrier would go good with this?
You gotta' love those Slovaks. Damn pant engineers!! I have a few pairs of Nothface Paramount pants. And they have a similar cord lok on the pant legs. Pretty cool. Like the hat, except could the cordlok be used as a choke from someone behind?? That said.....I like it👏👏👏
Slovenians mate😉 not Slovaks..two different countries.
@@ACKZero. Thanks man, I know. My ancestors are chek, Hungarian , slovak. Came here around 1900. They kind of considered areas common🇸🇰🇷🇺. I can't keep up with the changes in the area..... I believe they might be descendants of Japeth in eu generally..
B, ya need to number the camo sequences so it's easier to keep score when we play find the jar head👍🤣😂✌
Thanks, found a nice pair friendly to my budget! Keep up the good work.
For the sake for fun can you do navy digital blue and blue camo for fun.
No
It might be the high contrast image but the lack of light gave away your position, you always occupied one of the darkest segments of the image. Do you get camo with light patches or some sort of on/off thermochromic tech (I had to google that word) to compensate day/night requirements? All useless of course if we’re fighting robots in the future. Thumbs up for interesting vid
Ya got a pretty strong knee there buddy
Ha, It was a rotten log.
slowcam, for the spec ed division
What is the pattern you are wearing as you give the brief in the beginning of the video?
Concamo, I filmed the ghost hood video the same day.
Brent of all the cammo you've tested does one stand out as a good any terrain pattern.
