It is amazing how far sluicing has come. It seems like every time you turn around there is a new one and that one with two different ones going at the same time seemed very effective. That was very impressive seeing the amount of gold harvested. I bet the old times would be going nuts seeing these processes. A great video even without the audio.

Great video as always Dan!!! It was awesome to have you out there.
One part of the audio that was missed was Dan explaining the weeks total was actually 3 ounces more then what we weighed out. I usually high-grade the gold in the hydraulic riffles and just run the remaining concentrates through the cleanup system.
Also Dan explains what my running costs are for myself and to make it short, I am around the 25% mark for fuel and maintenance.

At 3:19 I notice the expanded is put in for a more aggressive action (sort of 'against the grain' as it were), and have always been told (from what others heard most likely rather than through experimentation) that the expanded should lay the other way for a somewhat gentler slope to the action zone. I have done some small tests with the std Keene in both directions, and think it might be more based on the size of the chunks vs the size of the expanded rise. Thoughts?

    Lol, nice pan Dan.
The sluce ends need bubblers as well...
How many places do they remember where the was plants were? And sluice ends?
Lol. Anyway... I Bet there's old pictures some place around.
Those old mills and sluices were terribly inefficient, especially the mines, and when did they lengthen the sluices and such, little pay dirt holes where the sluice dump off was.. silly silly silly.
    Merry Christmas Dan.
We ought to go out to him and replace his crap stuff with all super Shiney and really valuable things.. silver sluice and all, some gold leafing scrolling.
You have amazing finds Dan. And what is gold and gems anyway?
Just pretty to look at, we'll do some .(what Mad Jack? Franz Listz..never heard of him .. Bugs 🐰. )
Anyway.. a dirty trick, put gold under the pan surface.. lol. They would would get over it.. like a crackhead .. ever spill coke in the carpet? Something like that. Lol
Ever pan would end with " fck it" lol.
Myself I want to put an in ground, in the bedrock rock sluice, ya know?
With big rocks and then smaller stones to fill in and such.. the fine would " precipitate " right out of it.
And all we'll have to do is take out a few rocks and suction hose the the pool or bucket.. just add air, ya got plenty of moving water there.
Air and a little tiny bit of upward moving water to keep the mud moving up.. I would be catching every bit of it... gold, good to the last drop.
I do wish I was out there... I would build a huge one, or two..
Easy wash, no chemicals and hardly any noise. Just some quiet air pump turbines and some magnetic coupling water water fans or something.
Washer jets right in the dump trucks as it was moving.
Yes Dan, we are fcking idiots. 👏
Gonna try to keep it down to the bare minimum though from now on.
Recycling water through the bed of the dump, even four wheelers could have one on there. Take it off and have some big wheels for it, like a furniture dolly for those hard to reach places..
Remediation.. will need big dump trucks for many of those places, out there, Arsenic and mercury all over the place.. not a health conscious occupation, and they weren't gonna carry it back out.. dumped it right there .. and all of that dirt has to be cleaned anyway..no sense in being the idiots they were, we'll get every bit of the gold and all that out of there, help cover the cost of housing and the remediation.
    Faster and cheaper too.
The fish will like their rivers cleaned up too.. moose and bear and all that drink from it. Were those eagle got all that poisoning from.. probably the fish down hill of one of them mines, legal and illegal ones.
Anyway.. might as well classify it too.. well, all that pine sap too.. that's a bit too much run off of that too sir, I'm into replanting it with more fruiting trees and all that too.
So, those gems and stones and gold and possibly silver Grey mud black mud sir? Lol.
Won't hardly loose a drop, some of that heavy black sand might be silver rich if it's not magnatite.
Just plain crazy people Dan.. uneducated.. some only lust for gold that they don't see the Forrest for the trees.
Those places are soooo mineral rich, it isn't funny, and we don't use our brains as much as we like to work and get hernia.. they use freaking fire to burn out the freaking arsenic from the rocks and sit right there huffing the fumes like camp fire stories.. lol.
    Just piss poor processes.
