Jen’s trial featured wine: a product valued for its age…while she is a woman who prioritizes vanity. She was the “ugly” version of the wicked stepmother in episode 7 who prioritizes vanity. The trial tailored to Jen was telling her to appreciate the gift of age. Especially in our youth-obsessed culture. You are beautiful and inherently valuable especially the older you get.
“The Road” is representative of the “right” way to go about getting what you want. There are rules on the road. You can’t cheat. This episode, he said “screw the road” meaning “screw the rules.” He and his mother can both just change the rules of the game. With a thought. Creating pocket dimensions.
One thing that was interesting to me is that Billy put Tommy into a body of someone who was alone and unloved. I wonder if subconsciously he didn’t want to put Tommy into a situation like he was in with a family who loved the boy who died not knowing their child was gone. That entire scene of that boy dying was so sad and makes me worry for Tommy. Obviously being in a body is better than being a soul attached to Billy (if that’s what he was?), but he’s coming into a situation without support and possibly dealing with terrible bullying. Can’t wait to see where they go with that storyline in the future.
To us boomers, bronzed shoes mean something different! Parents used to take baby's first shoes and have them bronzed (for remembrance)! Then the price of copper shot waaaaayy up! 🏳️🌈
Your Gay Gasp at the Wiccan costume reveal gave me life! After the Billy backstory episode I noticed that the end credits take place in his room. I love how they changed them at the end of the last two episodes to make that more explicit.
Poor Ralph just lost any remaining market value on that house. Has anybody noticed Sharon is missing yet? All the Westview residents need therapy, especially Herb.
Personally I absolutely loved the finale. It answered every question and tied up all loose threads imo. Anyway, here to also say you 100% deserve the success, congrats!!
“I think the multiverse can be used for far cooler things then somebody we seen for a decade” That part ! !!!!!!!! 🩶🩶🩶 Can we text that to emperor Feige lol
Your reaction to Billy's Wiccan costume is LIFE!!!!!! Thank you so much for these videos! I have subscribed. I love the depth of your wisdom that you share while reacting. Absolutely excellent!!
They have borrowed heavy from the Comics. For those wondering WTF happens next. If Disney gives the show a 2nd season and last weeks episode apparently broke a lot of records for an MCU series, Pretty much anything. Agatha travelled the witches road as a Ghost with Wanda, She is one of the most complicated characters in the MCU. Wiccan finally appears and he' just at the start of his road, the character is even more powerful than Dr Strange, It was a massive shame about Alice but as we've come to expect she took her fate with bravery. Jen you know its not the last we have seen of her. When she flew off that was bloody awesome. The Grift always was Agatha forming a Coven then making them so angry they fired magic at her, She got her powers death got the Bodies, In Episode 1 she revealed her grift but then the door appeared. Billy/Wiccan is so powerful his reality the reality he creates is 100% real. The situation around Tommy was very heavy, The showdown with Rio was exactly what we expected. Just Glad they didnt try and explain why Agatha is so nasty because of her son She's just a bad person and something horrendous happened to her. She used that horrendous event to actually help someone else. I hate it when shows try and redeem a character no sometimes bad people are just bad.
mmm no dear. i'm 34. our mothers used to have our first pair of shoes BRONZED and fixed onto a portrait of us. it has nothing to do with the wizard of oz
Let's all hope and pray they don't "Marvelify" his Wiccan outfit too much in the next project. I'm really sick of black lines and metal bits on EVERYONE
tbh idk how to feel about this episode (and episode nine especially). the reveal that billy made all of this kind of cheapens the whole thing for me. like yeah, it's still cool, but none of it is actually real and it just ruins the experience for me. let's make a show about a bunch of women going through their trauma and healing but wait actually the entire thing is because of the one male character isn't that such a cool twist omg ... like what ??? it feels like after episode five the show shifted to be billy all along. they lost the plot, got back on track with episode seven, and then lost me again at the finale. the best way to describe how i feel about that billy made the road reveal is ... it feels like the "and then they woke up and it was all a dream" and i mean that in a bad way. the fight between agatha and rio was cool, but underwhelming for me. where was rio screaming and yelling at agatha about how nicky was her son too and she did all she could to keep him alive for as long as was allowed? rio's perspective on what happened with nicky is such an interesting thing to explore and learn about and it's just ... not explored at all. also the kiss of death was cool but it sucks that they had agatha die immediately after. like it's great seeing a kiss between two women on television but one of them always has to die. also rip my wife alice wu-gulliver i can no longer stay delusional about her possibly not being dead 😔
I 100% agree with you on these points. They spent soooo much time shoving Billy into every possible scenario that in the end they didn’t really give us enough backstory on Agatha and Rio’s relationship (which was the thing I was most curious and interested about from the beginning), they made everything about him but he’s so far from the most interesting character on the show?? It’s tiring. Also, it’s bonkers how they really managed to make this show full of amazing women be all about THE ONE male character they had. Sickening.

Yes! Gen X but came to say the same. There was even a store called Things Remembered that offered bronzing.

Rios theme is my new ring tone and theme for life
In my head when I walk in a room lmao . 😂😂😂
Poor Ralph just lost any remaining market value on that house. Has anybody noticed Sharon is missing yet? All the Westview residents need therapy, especially Herb.
Poor Herb standing there and I just lost it!😂🤣
My parents had my first baby shoes bronzed and mounted in front of a picture of me.
Billy may have created the road, but Agatha knew all along.

omg these are my feelings exactly.
What do you mean it's not real? It's reality manipulation. It's 100% real.
Just because he made it doesn't mean it's not real.
