What she is encouraging is totally illegal. Robbery and then using the money as it pleases her? Lock her up..
Yes, but invading your neighbouring country and murdering its citizens is even more illegal.
Well, Ruzzia illegally invaded Ukraine, so it will work out fine.
When the White House suggested confiscations like this, early in the conflict, they waved about some ancient paragraphs about the president's right to hire buccaneers and raid foreign trading ships, no matter if these ships were from a country the US was at war with or not (because they don't want to land in an open and admitted state of war with Russia). I mean, that's the type of law that Francis Drake operated under for the British crown more than four hundred years ago, but transposed to a whole different situation...come on, guys! *seriously?* - and are you gonna tell us this isn't illegal?
annexed Russian assets you mean?
You mean stolen assets?
How about taxing the super rich who live in Monaco. Enjoying European protection and not contributing a Euro
Ursula must stay in jail
EU's new motto: "We treat your money like it's ours."
Russia: we treat you like you are ours to own.

It will show the phony credibility of Western currency and offer it's Yuan as replacement.
China can bankrupt the entire West overnight and the West know this and fears China.
@@public.publiccountries around the world are going to perceive this as it really is: a theft. Trust will be forever lost in the financial system of the EU. If they can do it to Russia, they can do it to anyone.

I doubt this would stand up to legal challenge. EU likely to be forced to compensate with interest.
Stop talking about it. Get on with it EU...
It's only what Russia will have to pay for all the damage in Ukraine anyway so yeah go for it.

She's got you worried. Not that I think you have any money to lose over this, but perhaps reassigned to Ukraine?

The EU banks will end the trust of the EU financial system and they may pull out for their safety. Also it is illegal by law to confiscate Russian assets. These assets are in multiple banks and the EU banking commission categorically oppose it.
No ways. When you take money from a drug cartel - does anyone loose faith in the banking system? No they dont, because you are appropriately dealing with crime.

Who's going to pay for the damage that Putin caused to Ukraine? You?
Crime must not pay - all the russian assets must be given to Ukraine to help pay damages done by Russian war criminals.
Hark at the grim reaper!
There has to be a european referendum on the war in Ukraine!!! most of us do not agree with our interference in this war!!!
Agree: if the media catchphrase "We're all behind Ukraine!" two years ago had had the necessary follow-up of sending regular troops from EU countries over to the front in Ukraine to show the supposed solidarity, then this unified show of support would have blown apart in a month or two. There would have been no backing, and the demands for a negotiated end to the war would have come out really loud.
Do you have any sources for opinion polls that suggest your claim has an ounce of truth to it? OK, I though not.

Meanwhile, in a real world: declaration of the VII Congress of Deputies of all levels: The critical situation in Transnistria requires urgent and the most active international intervention.
Pridnestrovians are subjected to discrimination and arbitrariness when crossing the Moldovan border; they are deported and separated from their families.
The supply of diagnostic equipment for medical institutions has been blocked, thereby violating the natural human right to life and health.
The problem of importing medicines into the region has worsened.
Transnistria asks Russia, in the face of increasing pressure from Moldova, to take measures to protect the region, in which more than 220 thousand Russian citizens permanently reside.
Update:
The State Duma (Russia) will officially consider Pridnestrovie’s (Transdnistris's) appeal to Russia with a request for help.
As soon as it arrives at the State Duma, the council will consider it based on consultations with Putin and the Russian Foreign Ministry.
