I’m so happy y’all have found some treasures in spite of the rain. Regardless I know y’all have fun together. Love what y’all found especially the ginger beer bottles , baskets and bowls. Love and blessings ❤️❤️❤️
Kayla, thank you and aunt Penny for taking us along with you on your adventure. I have fun just watching and seeing all your good treasures that you find.
Ohmygoodness I was at that same spot on that over look. I stopped and took a picture with my husband. I even told my husband “ oh look someone is burning something “ 🤗 I so wish I could have seen you there. I came home with a truck loaded down. So much fun. I’ve been going for years. If you can ever make it to Kentucky !! I highly recommend Crossville Tn - Liberty Ky by far my favorite every year! Thanks for sharing your trip. I just love you and Aunt Penny!! 🤗❤️
*Penny, I have that bowl and I* *L💟VE IT❣️🥰 Ladies, I have one ginger beer bottle, but it doesn't have any writing on it. 😔 The ones you found are wonderful‼️ And that GATHERING BASKET 🧺 - GAH - I'm GAGA over that one‼️🤪🤣💕* *The views from that overlook are SPECTACULAR - thank you for sharing them with us❣️🥰☝️ Isn't God's creation GORGEOUS⁉️* *Looking at the prices, they may seem high to many people 🤔 but they are not....the Sellers KNOW THE VALUE OF WHAT THEY HAVE and are NOT GIVING IT AWAY‼️😃😁 Good for them❣️ In my opinion, some things I saw were worth A LOT more than the price tags they carried.*
I love watching the two of you go thrifting and junkin'. I can't wait to see the beer bottles close us. I've never seen them. They looked very interesting.
My daughter lives in Russel County where it runs through in KY. I drove there and never made it to the HWY there was so many sales on the way and in the county. Weather hurt the lower states.
Wow! Make junkin popular and the prices go outrageously high. Same way here in NC. I remember growing up and going with my Grandmother and she was either given items or paid nickels and dimes for them. So much has changed since the late 80’s early 90’s. You both scored some neat items 👍🏻👍🏻
Go to the old hosery factory in Fort Payne next time! It's not far from Myrtle Jayne's. That first place y'all stopped........ $245 for a toy wagon!!! Insane prices! I was looking for vintage Halloween and didn't see any CODE ORANGE.... If you find some... be sure to send me pics and prices. I know they will be outrageous. Have so much fun!!
We looked Angie but everything Halloween was soooo high. Is the factory place called the Old Mill? We are going back to Vintage Pickin up there at the end of the month 😢
Thankyou girls for including us in your fun trip. So sorry the weather is not so great but maybe not as hot as it was last year? I hope you find lots of your favorite treasures. I always love the home tours most of all and how ya'll style everything. Praying for you too.
I so enjoy going on adventures with you two. I loved the post cards. I am just getting over covid so I'm not doing much. Give Buster a hug for me. Love you.
How fun! Looking forward to part 2! Route 127 runs near where I live in KY and I had about two hours to check out some sales. I found four or five great vintage treasures and only spent $8.00!
I would love to be with your ladies. You are so much fun to watch and I love all your finds. I wish you would find me a yellow ware green mixing bowl like the one you got for Aunt Penny.(Just Kidding)
Wow some of the prices 🤑 Girl you need to come to Indiana. We went up to Amish country a couple hours N of us there was a huge flea market and antique show. I got so much stuff. Metal wagon wheel $20, the long chicken feeders $10, galvanized buckets $5 I got my unicorn 🦄 a old wood spice with drawers $40 and antique iron string ball holder $20 just to name a few things. I also got the most beautiful leather Bible and lots of smalls.
From a 20 year lady going to world's longest yard sale through Alabama: my tips, go to restroom before you start the road trip. Take plenty of water and Gatorade in cooler with ice.put some wet paper towels in a Ziploc bag and put in cooler, it will save you when you over heat in that sun. Hat sunscreen, be picky which one's you stop at, it can take a whole dayl to go 20 miles!! This is the truth... happy yard sale 😊
You say Tennessee like my brother does. We have the Hwy 60 yard sales in my area of KY, and it's pretty big too. I have friends just south of Nashville; I wonder if they ever go to any Hwy 127 sales. It's a LOT of fun going to these!!
I didn’t get to go this year. This is the first time I’ve missed it in years but I’ll be back next year. I love seeing your and Aunt Penny’s treasures. Can’t wait to see the next video.
Vintage and antiques are less expensive in shops. We left West Tennessee and drove from Chattanooga to Central Kentucky. Expensive trip but enjoyable and beautiful country.
As a basket weaver I can say your large basket was AMAZING!!!❤ 10 or more hours probably went into making it! Stay safe. You all will have to come see my basket collection sometime.
@@LittleCahabaJunkin It goes from St. Louis, Missouri to Baltimore, Maryland along US40 which runs parallel to I70. A little over 800 miles. It’s usually the Wednesday through Sunday of the first weekend of June.

That is exactly what I told Kayla, especially when you factor in hotels , gas and food.
Well now I’m wanting me some ginger beer bottles! 😂

I do as much as I can❤️ it’s hard to show all of them, but we try to share what we paid throughout the video ❤️
These prices seem like full retail at a big city antique shops
The prices were awful this year!
The Historic National Road Yard Sale (US40) would like to have a word about being the Worlds longest.
