Can't wait to watch this one after work. I've been wanting to hear Nick's thoughts on what they've done with season 3. I think the sisters did some really neat stuff both narratively and visually and I love how online horror fans have been showing AH so much love despite it not having many of the conventional online horror trappings and being more analog mystery than horror, and usually having a more hopeful and optimistic ending capper each season. Anyone have a predictions on what an as of now theoretical season 4 and beyond might look like? Personally, I want a season diving into either the previous operation (LW bankruptcy, the original man on the outside, how this media operation started and how it continues, etc.), or more backstory on the Frans, and particularly Francis' backstory. They've been teasing that how he met Gabby is juicy and I'm here for the tragic past and better understanding of where Frans come from and what they do for the Angels. As for new media, I want a puppet show. Not a high production one like the Muppets, as amazing as that would be, but more real props but for a lower budget junior show a la Mustard Pancakes/Christian kid shows on public access. I want cheap but endearing puppets. I know I'm probably pipedreaming, but if I could imagine a future season, give me Gabby, Zag, and the gang as puppets.
My brother said he wants stop motion claymation a la Davey and Goliath. I think the concept is cool, but stop motion is very hard, time consuming, and expensive to do and I'd be very impressed if the sisters even attempted it, let alone pulled it off with the quality we've come to expect, but as a hypothetical it is a cool idea.

One thing this video reminded me of was how different the Season 3 trailer was from what the actual season ended up being. The trailer made it look like the main story would be about Segen's relationship with Jonah, whereas the actual videos were more about helping Cammy. But in the end I don't think it was really misleading, but just a way to include a bit more hints about Segen's character that wouldn't really fit into the videos.
Aw I'm sad I missed the livestream for this one. I didn't notice it before but them being named Frances and Francine does make them sound related. I think there's also the possibility that since the second lore video is labeled as a game demo that could have been the original Hyrax responding in the past. Who is now absent in the full game causing Cam to try and replace them in the game narrative. Aww I didn't know about the Francois reveal that's so cute. Are they a lemur or a raccoon though? The tail is throwing me off. Also forgot about it earlier but the sprouting tree is so Legend of Mana to me. iirc they mentioned demons back in S1 but we haven't seen them yet and I find that kind of interesting. This series is so wholesome and I'm very glad I watched the whole thing and gave them a sub.

The hyrax was not known to early English translators of the bible. They would call it a rabbit, or similar instead. More modern translations will call them badgers or rock badgers. The hyrax is considered to have been used in the bible as a manner of the Lord teaching both wise living despite vulnerability and dependence of the Lord for protection. By living in the crags of cliffs, they demonstrated the wise choice in finding security. They literally built their home on the rock, thus illustrating dependance on the Lord our rock. The creature was also considered a symbol of cowardice in Hebrew, nor is it or the rabbit kosher. And for a fun fact, their closest relatives are the Elephant and Manatee.
Just when I thought I was going to have a relatively empty night to invest into Dread Delusion, in comes another NML VoD. Well, Hallowshire can wait. I already delivered mushroom tea to the Inquisition's equivalent of Dale Cooper, and that's not even hyperbole. (I wouldn't say Dread Delusion is Twin Peaksy, but it DOES have at least one Twin Peaks reference in there) From what I could tell, Camael ended up losing themselves in the sauce of DMing something along the lines of Quest for Glory. Very much a different beast from the more traditional acting that Gabby and Zag are used to, though not quite as soul-flattening as trying to spread yourself across the whole internet. That last little bit of Season 3, with the adjusting of an external camera... It seems like there are unwanted eyes on this scene, threatening to make a play at a later date... Or at least that's the vibe I got.

You should watch Angel Hare from the beginning! It won't take very long, and anything you're confused about would be explained. It's definitely worth the small investment of time!

This is one of my favorite ARG/ analog horror series, and I found it when I was feeling particularly down, it made me feel so much better.
