If your Tacoma is equipped with LED headlights, follow the wiring instructions below: 1. Red Power Wire: On the driver side headlight plug, locate the pink wire going into the headlight plug. The pink wire is your marker light power wire. Wire tap into this wire with the red wire on the fog light bezel harness. 2. Passenger Side Yellow Wire: On the passenger side headlight plug, locate the light blue wire. The light blue wire is your turn signal power wire. Wire tap into this wire with the yellow wire on the passenger side fog light bezel. 3. Driver Side Yellow Wire: On the driver side headlight plug, locate the beige wire. The beige wire is your turn signal power wire. Wire tap into this wire with the yellow wire on the driver side fog light bezel.
Hey Andrew, what you would need to do then is use a fuse tap in the fuse box. You would still need to cut off the ring terminal on the end. Then hook the end to a fuse tap that is plugged into a location on the fuse box that has ignition power only, otherwise they will be on 24/7. Another option is a switch panel. If you have more aftermarket lighting or plan on adding more aftermarket lighting then a switch panel is a great option and very easy to hook things up to and control.
@@yotaxpedition Thanks! I actually saw your reply to Damon's comment below regarding wiring to the Stock LED headlights (for now). (21 sport). My goal is to have the fog bezel running when my Headlight DRL LED bezel is on. I think your notes below should work
Hey! Did you get this figured out? If you have different colored wires, the best thing to do is use a test light and see which wire gets power when you turn your headlights on and you can tap into that.
Question: So my Tacoma has amber drls during the day and white at night are the bezels able to switch back and forth like that or do you have to manually have it set to one or the other?
I can’t figure out how to install this. I have stock led lights on my 21 Tacoma. I only see 1 plug that comes out and it doesn’t match the video. Not sure what to do
Hey Damon, just did some wire probing on another Tacoma we have with LED lights. Here is the information you need. Driver side headlight plug, the pink wire is your marker light power wire. Hook the red wire on the fog light bezel to the pink wire. The beige wire on the driver side plug will go to the yellow wire on the driver side fog light bezel. On the passenger side headlight plug, the light blue wire is for the turn signal. Hook the light blue wire up to the yellow wire on the passenger side fog light bezel.

Great video, but curious. What would be the wiring installation point if we did not want the cut the ring connector and use a wire tap?

Can these beade to fit the trd pro rigid industries style fog light?
These are sweet.
Unfortunately, cant get em yet in Canada.
Cool stuff. But not a fan of tapping into the main wire harness for both the headlights and turn signals.
You can also use a fuse tape if you want for the main power but you still need to wire tap the turn signals so they get the right signal.
Good job 👏
Thanks! Appreciate the love
I got those but. My 2021 taco trd don’t have that purple cable.. and yes it has drl . And fog lights . Don’t know where to power them from!

The only time they switch color is for the turn signal. They will not have the ability to change color for different times of day.
What front bumper is that? Thx
This is the CaliRaised bumper yotaxpedition.com/products/2016-tacoma-stealth-bumper

did they have instructions?
the ones on amazon are not the same brand and probably don't have the same quality and fit
