i saw alot of people saying “omg sounds like something i wrote in my diary when i was 12” the song is literally about her unhappiness..she doenst need amazing over the top metaphorical lyrics for a song to be good,, sometimes the simple lyrics can mean so much to an individual
It's sad because she would sing about polar opposite feelings. I don't think people should hide them but it's sad to see how much she's been effected. She definitely seems a bit down lately and I don't blame her

She wrote the song "Love" because she is sick and tired of people celebrating her separation from Elon Musk and she hates that they want her to stop loving him.

It was in response to all of the hate that Elon was receiving online and a response to all of the hate that she was receiving online because of her love for him. She is saying this to those people. She is saying everything that they hate is everything that she loves, and no matter how much they want to destroy it, she will never, ever stop loving the man she loves. So they need to get over it. I don't know where you got that other interpretation from but okay.

Because we live in a world where u can be or do anything you want.
My understanding is that Grimes had lip filler put in mainly her upper lip and she still will over line and contour her lips in top of that.
Other people have speculated that she has had a few more cosmetic tweaks to her face as I have heard people say she looks 30% more attractive than before and her reatures are now more balanced ( not that there was anything wrong with her face before)
Obviously with her wealth and Elon's connections she has access to some very good cosmetic surgeons and makeup artists.
And Grimes has definitely been concentrating on putting her attractiveness, appearance and style in the forefront; which is a far cry from her earlier career where she railed against being sexualised to sell music and used to not shave her legs or armpits.
It's sad really, because now she seems to be playing dress up and going down the appearance obsessed celebrity/ britneyspears Kardashian route; but I guess that is what makes her happy.
She doesn't need to do this because she is talented and her work should be able to stand on its own :(.
She was so much more interesting and cool before.

I insulted her work, not her character. Art is open to critique. She's the reason I have a home studio and got back into music. I'm bummed to see her art go down the simplistic EDM route. That's my personal opinion.
These are exercises or fragments of unfinished songs that will not be part of a new GRIMES album. It's like they can't fit into a proper release. You think she will risk herself?. She will offer something beyond greatness!... 👍👍👍😉
I know what you mean I loved her old albums, but at the same time, I think it's normal for artists to evolve, explore new sounds. I enjoy her new stuff very much and for me, it all fits her 'universe'. I hope she keeps evolving, that's what good artists do
