I dunno about that now Salah exists, he's literally one of the greatest of all time, full stop, not just one of the greatest in his position of all time like Gerrard, we're talking a player that'll be spoken alongside the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Pele, Eusebio etc, greatest ever African player. Only a handful of players can boast a goal like the goal he scored against City in their career and Salah did almost a carbon copy twice in a week against Watford too. Don't get me wrong, Gerrard will always be my favourite Liverpool player along with Emlyn Hughes & Kenny, but Liverpool have never had a player be the best player in the world before, we've had players you could argue were, but Salah is the first time we've had a player you could call the best in the world and there's not even an argument to be had

@@oisinmcginley6695 There is one way I think Gerrard is head and shoulders above Salah. Not sure if you’ve noticed but Salah really isn’t a big game player, like when the pressure is on or it’s a final his performance suffers. In the run in to the title win it was Mane coming through with the big goals, it ended up being Salah’s worst season scoring for us and I’d put that down to the pressure towards the end of the season. Against Spurs in the CL final he was anonymous, same in the league cup final v Chelsea, he had a few presentable chances he’d usually bury in that game and hit the post etc

Can't describe all the emotions I felt watching this video... Happiness, nostalgia, sadness etc but the overall feeling was love. Love for the club, for the past players that gave us some many wonderful memories, for the new players that continue that legacy but above all... Today we were all lucky enough to be at Anfield to watch the game and we were having a pint beforehand reminiscing about those games he took us to when we were younger. One of the best days I’ve had in a long time. Your boys will remember this forever trust me mate . YNWA
