That is a great looking boat. Thanks for posting. I am looking to convert my 14' dinghy to a hinged system. Right now, I am the only person in the family with enough oomph to lift the 22' mast upright and drop it through the deck and down into the step at the bottom of the hull. Seeing that my boat was built in the early 1960's I wonder if they expected back then that upper body strength required to do this was just common or maybe just not a thoughtful design?
