- In this video, I will address the concerns of all the aspirants and their parents when they take a decision of taking a year drop for CLAT. I understand that it is a tough decision for all the aspirants due to uncertainty surrounding the exam every year, I believe it is worth a go due to the kind of exposure you get in a good college. Do not get disheartened by your failure, step up and start again with full confidence. I have also discussed some normal issues that students face during their preparation.

Taking a drop after CLAT 2024 💀
Had taken a drop for clat 2020 prepared for the whole year but this sort of paper was not what I had expected after going through the sample papers ( some might not agree, it's cool) and had a really bad result.Though on the bright side got into NLUD. But guys be careful if you are taking a drop things might not go your way but if you will work hard you will find something good....
I would take drop next year after 12th .....i know i have 6 months before clat exam 2024 and with a lot hardwork it can be done ....but i have my 12th and have less time for it
So I've decided that till January i will complete my whole clat syllabus and after my boards i will start preparing for current affairs with mock tests ..and revision will be done at backend
I'm not only targeting for cracking the clat 2025 but also to get AIR
I have the same condition but my parents saying go for December attempt this year if not will get you admission in some pvt University I'm feeling so low how can we manage boards and clat together

Raikon I agree with you but for me going for December attempt i guess will be a waste for me as I don't think I will be well prepared in that time and just for giving the paper to know how the paper comes ...so for this i will get it online later ...i think clat 2025 will be right for me and sir has also said that taking a drop is not a big thing as many students take drop every year and after next 5 years in top notch NLUs they get so much exposure, learnings and development that this 1 year drop not affects a single percent.
Edit : I'm not saying you to take drop...it's totally upto you bro

@@HRSH_3012 Hey man I strongly recommend you to give clat 2024. Just a month of prep would suffice. Giving clat will definitely boost your confidence. Don't worry about your admission or anything, you have clat 2025 for all that. I was in the same boat and getting a rank within 3.5k with just a month of prep proved to be a great source of long term motivation. Just try to get a rank within 5-6k.

But if you opt for humanities/ arts. It might help in Mhcet (5yr law)

Advice : You should consider Mhcet too, because scoring 120+ in mhcet is a golden opportunity for one❤️

Sir,i am feeling so low,as i haven't done anything for CLAT, things are haunting now as i am a class12th student,( science) will 1month work? To prepare? I don't know,right now! Should i focus upon scoring good in boards and give some time for clat, as being under pressure i have even left being in touch with current affairs,etc. I am ready to do anything for it,just that i don't know how to do it really.
The dropping option is something i can't afford,due to some conditions,so am i feeling instense pressure right now.

You will most probably get lower 5 NLUs so it's up to you if you want to join lower NLU or take a drop and go for top colleges
I think you should not take a drop if you are good then you will do good from anywhere.......

Take a college and then prepare. Atleast you'll have a backup.
It's better to have a backup. But you'll have to manage your time well and give more importance to CLAT.

Start from September-October. In CLAT 2020, most of the questions were from last 5-6 months.

Go for du 🤗🤗🤗
You can go to DU, and still prepare for CLAT. This way you'll have a good backup.
I have few advices for you. There is alot of free time between classes in first year, some days you will have just two classes, some days you will have a packed schedule so plan accordingly. And hostel koshish karna college k pass hi mile, North campus mein ho toh badhiya hai pass hi mein coaching centres hai ( if you wish to take coaching classes). I have been in your shoes( I am in 2nd year Miranda House) thoda frustrated feel karoge but atleast you will have a solid plan B. And congratulations on North campus 😀

i think it makes sense to take a drop prepare well for all exam but not depend on clat anymore

tbh to pursue law, yes you can. it is expensive but if you can afford it then go for it. if you cant afford it then taking a scholarship and loan is not worth it to be honest, it would be better to pursue law here in india itself. Canada has common law so if you study there then you can practice in India and other commonwealth countries. If your languages like english and french are strong then go for it. But for undergraduate it is advised to pursue it here in india itself. I just listed the pros and cons out for you, I hope this helps you to make an informed decision :)

Dont take a drop, CLAT is unpredictable and it always gets itself into centre of Controveries every single year, can be problematic for your mental health if your efforts and luck goes south.
Symbiosis Hyderabad is good, I've of friend there, and it's all good for a student.

I decided to take a drop on the particular day when i saw my marks
i was a dropper and prepared quiet well for the exam but got much less marks as expected almost we all went through the same thing and as far as i consider, clat consortium is not going to do anything about it they want 2000 students and they will get so. But m not gonna quit
So what i did is i started my goal for clat 2021 from 2rd october (a great day to start as it's a birth anniversary of a very positive person we all know).
All the best for result 2020 guys 🤞and for them also who will stay positive even if doesn't score good and have faith guys we are here to shine not to loose hope😊😉✌🤟

I know there were some tech glitches in clat exam this year so somethings are just not in our hand we should not lose hope and try to be better and next time let the world see that even fate can't stop us .
