For the past five years, researchers have documented mule deer, elk, black bear, moose, pronghorn, bobcats and many other wildlife species using wildlife underpasses and overpasses on State Highway 9 in Grand County, Colorado. Although in use in Canada decades ago I’m glad to see these measures finally taken in Colorado, well done. These over/under passes will effectively reduce highway fragmentation giving wildlife safe passage to roam freely as well as saving lives by reducing automobile collisions. 👍
