- Victoria Shadow Treasurer Brad Rowswell has slammed pro-Palestinian demonstrators who protested on Anzac Day.
“Is nothing sacred anymore?” Mr Rowswell told Sky News host Steve Price.
“I don’t think you’ll find a Victorian, I don’t think you’ll find an Australian that disagrees with the principle of a right to protest.
“Anzac Day is a sacred day, Anzac Day should be a protected day.
“That was frankly disgraceful.”

Israel always claims that it has withdrawn from Gaza in 2005 and pulled out 8000 settlers, whilst this is correct however, the following conspicuous facts are also true:
A- Although Israel pulled out 8000 settlers from Gaza, it has placed more than half a million illegal settlers in other Palestinian territories which are recognised by the international community. [ Source- The economist - 06.11.2023]
B- Despite the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 it has not allowed the Palestinians to have their own airport or seaport in Gaza or indeed the West Bank.
C- Access to Water, Electricity, Telecommunications, Internet and the Borders of Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem have been controlled exclusively by Israel for the last 56 years.
Palestinians already were killed before 7th October but slowly. The armed settlers expelled many Palestinians from their houses in the west bank, killed thousand of them, and many are arrested just because they were trying to get their rights and the world was blind and silent. Gaza was besieged. The journalist Shereen Abu Aqla was killed by Israeli force year before October 7 while covering occupation atrocities in the west bank. Itamar Ben Gfir and his party let settlers carry weapons as they want and attack Palestinians in their houses. They also support building illegal settlements everywhere.
