Amazing work Andrew and Yemini! Please keep this and and exposing the disgusting and corrupt behaviour from the Victorian Police and Daniel Andrews… these crooks need to be exposed and stopped
I am from the UK and I did fair bit of work with a cop from Melbourne. Generally a nice guy but had a really unhealthy attitude toward the public when pressed or backed into a corner. I got the impression that they saw the public as vermin to be controlled and that any petty excuse would or could be used to nail somebody they didn't like and that they would use an absurd amount of manpower and resources just to settle a personal vendetta rather than looking at the greater public good. It seems that throughout the pandemic and the treatment of Mr Yemini are in line with this unhealthy attitude within certain forces that would appear to have bought into a political narrative. The Police have been scapegoated in many countries and for many reasons and I am very pro Police - they do a great job generally and I hate to think what society would look like without them but the Victoria Police, I think stepped over a very dangerous line where they beat, arrested and harassed generally decent folks who posed ZERO risk to themselves or others - unless you actually believe that COIVD 19 was so deadly that it warranted this response. I think the stats say otherwise.
That's all total bullshit the cops in Melbourne responded to far right Nazis that organised and took over these protests for their own evil cause, these extremists turned the protests into shit fights which was their only intention and some of them were caught with concealed knifes and knuckle dusters on them
@@aldosigmann419 I think we have to remember the cops are people too. They are obliged to uphold the law that any regime puts in place whether they agree with it or not and to fail to do that - they risk their livelihoods. That all being said there are certainly some that seem to relish the power trip and the feeling on dominance over their fellow citizen and get too many of them in ANY police force and you risk turning the whole of the public against the force. The rule of thumb should be that if you are not presenting a clear and present (significant) danger to yourself or other the policing should be softly softly. But I agree the Canadian cops looks like Stormtroopers and they seems to be treating decent peaceful citizens with pretty heavy hands.

6:55 The big guy with the Mohawk and Beard was also wrongfully arrested using force whilst doing his job as Avi’s protection during one of these marches. He also won his case in court against the Police. These were targeted arrests imo and designed to snuff out any Media coverage that showed the Authorities in a bad light. What we are witnessing around the globe is a concerted effort by Governments to limit the power of protest in order to strengthen the hand of those who are in control. Right now here in the U.K. we have a Conservative Govt actively pushing for limitation on people’s rights to Strike and Protest. The media in General are pushing a right wing agenda whilst simultaneously pointing all fingers at the left for all of the current situation we all face. A situation that has come about because of Neoliberal Economics which is as far removed from Socialism as you can get. This all comes down to Power and Greed of a select few who view themselves as self appointed overlords. Now please do tell me what difference there is between the Capitalist agenda and those Communist types they seemingly find so abhorrent ? All of it centres around control and greed. If as you claim we live in a Democracy in the west then surely a Democracy takes into account all viewpoints and sides of the debate no matter how diverse or otherwise? If not then it is a dictatorship regardless of where your personal beliefs lay. An Ex Soldier.
@@Al-Gore-ithm In March 1881, the Victorian Government approved a royal commission into the conduct of the Victoria Police during the Kelly Outbreak.[171] Over the next six months, the commission, chaired by Francis Longmore, held 66 meetings, examined 62 witnesses and visited towns throughout "Kelly Country". While its report found that the police had acted properly in relation to the criminality of the Kellys, it exposed widespread corruption and shattered a number of police careers in addition to that of Chief Commissioner Frederick Standish.[172] Numerous other officers, including senior staff, were reprimanded, demoted or suspended. It concluded with a list of 36 recommendations for reform.[159] Kelly hoped that his death would lead to an investigation into police conduct, and although the report did not exonerate him or his gang, its findings were said to strip the authorities "of what scanty rags of reputation the Kellys had left them."

I am pleased that Avi got his apology, he was the only one out there reporting on the truth and showing what really was going on. I just wish you had of aired the footage of his security, Daniel, being arrested. The guy was saying I'm working, I'm on the job as he was smashed to the ground by about ten police while Avi, in front of the camera, was saying he is my security guard. The police told him to stay back as they were dealing with an offender. That was a targeted attack by the police.

It's insane to suggest that police are making our communities safer. It's not all police, but it is very many and it runs deep all the way to the top brass. It has been and will probably continue to always be a cancer within their organisations. Rebel News needs donations to continue. Suing the police would alleviate the pressure.

Apology isn't enough Avi. Someone needs to be held accountable, as in losing their job(s) and paying a fine, and possibly imprisonment, or it's just going to happen again.
agreed but its important to get the apology first as from now on he can sue with impunity
Yeah, get the compo!!!
Amazing work Andrew and Yemini! Please keep this and and exposing the disgusting and corrupt behaviour from the Victorian Police and Daniel Andrews… these crooks need to be exposed and stopped
We'd all love to see Bolt thrown in the back of a paddy waggon. Too much to hope for.
That's exactly the toxic culture of both Victorian and NSW Police!
That's all total bullshit the cops in Melbourne responded to far right Nazis that organised and took over these protests for their own evil cause, these extremists turned the protests into shit fights which was their only intention and some of them were caught with concealed knifes and knuckle dusters on them
It’s showing you have two replies, but none come up. YT is censoring.
Cops here (Canada) are regime enforcers/goons. I have zero respect for them now.
Easy to "apologize" later after you've already accomplished your purpose: keeping independent media from reporting what was actually happening on the ground.

Just an apology. All officers involved in this behaviour should be publicly shamed.
I wouldn't call Avi far right. He calls it as many of us see it. He is middle of the road as far as I am concerned. Good on him. He calls out behaviour that the average person doesn't accept is right, whether it is protectors or Police. I'm an Ex QLD cop. The behaviour of the Victorian Police a couple of years ago was terrible but remember, they were acting under direction of the Daniel Andrews Government. That whole state is on the nose.
Vic Police ought to be paying Avi compensation. Words aren't good enough. There needs to be compensation for his time, and wrongful treatment and destroying his reputation on all three occasions. Vic Pol behaviour is not on.
Congratulations Avi, you are much loved over here in the UK 🇬🇧 🇦🇺 a bastion, no! a quintessential voice in the battle to maintain free speech!

Now please do tell me what difference there is between the Capitalist agenda and those Communist types they seemingly find so
abhorrent ?
All of it centres around control and greed.

Ned Kelly the Australia’s first rebel and a bloody legend !
Right about what? Crime did not pay for him
Outrageous. I'm glad the court at least stepped in but it shouldn't have happened to begin with and definitely not two more times. That's proof of retaliation of him standing his ground. He's a hero for sure.

The police are not needed to keep order lmao. They washed your brain to believe crap like that
Hitler made for every thing he did laws. So following a illegal law goes against the human rights act signed by many countries after the second world war so the order followers are responsible if they follow illegal orders like lockdowns. Because of these criminal police they took 2 years of our lives following a illegal order. We have human rights and the broke that and should go to jail for a ferry long time. NEVER forget what they have done to the population. EVERY covid criminal should be held accountable. We can not allow people to do crimes against humanity and let them get away with that crime.

It's not Mr Yemini that needs to be embarrassed. The Victorian Police should be the one highly embarrassed.
They also arrested his security on occasions, for no reason.
It's easy to apologize now. It's more difficult to actually do something about it.
This is what happens at every protest anywhere. It serves at least 2 purposes. 1. Stop adding legitimacy to the grievance by reporting on it favorably 2. Create fear in others from reporting and protesting before it can gain unmanagable momentum.

The Victorian Police will never explain anything to do with apologies, that court letter is no more than throw away junk mail to these paid thugs.
The police hierarchy are too close to the Andrews Government that's why they won't investigate Red shirts or slug gate because Labor politicians and public servants are involved. If it was an average person who was involved they would investigate it straight away.
What a blessing....imagine being in such a castle you make the Supreme Court force you to apologize
The NZ government should apologise to Avi Yemeni, aswell.
So who within the Victorian Police are going to be held accountable for these breeches of freedom?
I am pleased that Avi got his apology, he was the only one out there reporting on the truth and showing what really was going on. I just wish you had of aired the footage of his security, Daniel, being arrested. The guy was saying I'm working, I'm on the job as he was smashed to the ground by about ten police while Avi, in front of the camera, was saying he is my security guard. The police told him to stay back as they were dealing with an offender.
That was a targeted attack by the police.
Just like SAPOL in South Australia, the police in Victoria appear to be the most successful group/club/crime-family/clan commiting organised crime in their state. Who polices the police? It's insane to suggest that police are making our communities safer. It's not all police, but it is very many and it runs deep all the way to the top brass. It has been and will probably continue to always be a cancer within their organisations. Australia was founded by criminals and we have been ruled by elitist scumbag criminals who happen to be protected due to their business and intimate relationships with powerful politicians, magistrates, queens/senior counsel, police commissioner/s and other offices of the government etc. There ain't shit any of us can do about it either.
