I love hearing them too! Birth stories in general are my favorite, it’s amazing because every woman is different and every baby is different so birth in itself is so unique and beautiful 😊
I started a birth playlist a while ago and there is a lot of Shane and Shane. And sounds like reign. They all sound so peaceful and the worship is super good ! Thanks for sharing 💜🙂✝️
Shane and Shane is awesome! I’ll have to maybe add one from them! So far I only have 3 songs on my playlist, I May have to add sounds too! Not sure yet 😊
This was so beautiful. ❤ That was my favorite part of having a midwife. She was so incredibly respectful of the birthing mama's space, and provided so much quiet strength. I used a tub as well, and both my mom and midwife told me before entering the tub, to let the water take over the pain and to surrender to it. It made all the difference in the world.❤
Yes! I love to hear that your midwife was incredible! “Quiet strength” - I love that it’s so true! Oh that is such great advice I will have to write that down on some extra spots on my banner! Thanks mama!
I like to labor alone too. The best prayer time I ever had was while I was in labor one time. 😊. I got the chills after my last baby was born, so I when you showed your sheets, I was thinking, “Blankets!!” Have you ever snacked while in labor? I never have wanted to. You’re room is well stocked and looking great!
Yes! So after the baby is born I’ll swap all of my regular bedding back on but I do need to have a blanket ready that I don’t mind getting dirty! I’ve never really wanted to snack, but I will have a few things ready if need be. I think staying hydrated is super important though! I am feeling prepared finally! Thanks for watching 😊
With my last birth it was all natural with a midwife but in a hospital setting they brought me in a chicken dinner with rice and I chowed it while in labor it was so good haha
That is awesome that they brought it on you during labor in the hospital! Love that! And chicken and rice is so good anytime haha. My first son was a hospital birth and I went in too early so my dr in triage said to leave and go home to labor so I could actually have food! So I did I think I had two bowls of cereal and P.F. Chang’s 😂 Thankful I did bc I was in such early labor! Once things start progressing for me my mind just kind of leaves the want for food unless someone with me offers it I might have a bite!
@@TheseDays my first labor I went in at 3 am and didn't have her until around 8:30 at night and they didn't let me have a single thing to eat 😩 worst labor ever .
This was so helpful! I'd love to see some more videos about home birth and everything that surrounds it. Most of the videos I'm finding are just on the birth itself. I'm hoping to have a home birth for my second and know I'm going to have to work on warming my partner and those around me up to the idea.
Thank you! It was nice to set it up and have it ready even though it will probably be a week and a half or so. I’ll be 38 wks tomorrow and all of my babies have been born in the 39th week! So we’ll see 😊
I love this so much Jacki! Home births are so beautiful and I’ve always wanted to experience it. I also love that your mother-in-law and mom are so supportive. 💜 That’s so rare and such a blessing.
Thank you Megan! Ah I’m sure your births were absolutely amazing! I’d love to hear your stories! I love that I can include both moms at the birth, it is opposite for so many people and so I am thankful! Thanks for watching! 💚
My homebirths were my favorite births of my 9, especially the accidental unassisted (but planned) homebirth. Chux are great for when you leak breastmilk during the night lol.
We are trying to get pregnant with our third now. We also have 2 boys that are about to be 5 and 7. My last two were your typical hospital birth. But this time I want to do a home birth. Thank you for this video! I enjoyed it.
That is awesome! I had a good hospital experience with my first son but I do have to say I personally enjoyed having a homebirth with my last and am looking forward to my upcoming one! No matter what birth choice you make I hope your 3rd comes at the perfect time, that is so exciting 🥰 thanks for watching!!!
Good luck and a safe delivery and healthy baby my 2 children were planned home births both arrived without any warning both in less than 30 minutes total and no pain at all midwife only just arrived for the last one never seen a birthing kit here in the UK must be different in different country
Thank you!!! Wow that is amazing you had pain free, precipitous births, I love hearing that and thank you for sharing! Maybe so about the birth kit, it’s an extra cost on top of the price of the midwifery care but thankfully it’s not too much more. Thanks for watching Yvonne!
Shasta sent me. Can’t wait to watch your channel!!
Hi Judy!! Thanks for being here! Love Shasta’s channel!
I love hearing about home births! They always sound like such serene experiences. 💜

How adorable! I love all the artwork in your space. How creative.
Thanks Leilani! I really love the banners a lot. I probably won’t take them down for a long time after the birth haha.
Coming over from Shasta's channel. Enjoyed the video. ❤ Congratulations and good luck Mama!

Homebirth is fantastic and I am glad you found this video helpful! I hope you feel at peace it’s your birth choices for your pregnancy/birth!
Love your room and the setup! I really enjoyed doing this collab with you. ❤️ you're so close!! I didn't realize you were already 37 weeks.

Hey Beth! Yes I probably forgot to link it below in my description so here it is! Thanks for asking!

Do you have to get homebirth packet from vital statistics ? Like what do we legally need to do after a homebirth
Hi! That would be a question for your midwife and probably depends on the state or country you live in.
You aren't legally obligated to do anything of the sort after a homebirth
Can anyone order birthing kits from there?
