Excellent video sir ji Very nice Good information for GCS. Thanks Dr. sahib ji Good knowledge Sir please one video for Braden Score Sir please request hai
Sir you explained very nicely. I have some doubts though : How to calculate score if either e v m is Nt? How to assess gcs if pt is drowsy or had taken alcohol prior to injury.
Almost 4 months ago my brother Had a heart attack and as a result have hypoxic brain injuury... initially he can only open his eyes with limited look around movement.. now He can move his lips tongue eyebrows elbow, feet finger, shoulder and head ..but very little. And he yawns too Almost after a month he started breathing on his own... initially was put on a ventilator .. He was initially having food through NG tube now doctors have inserted through stomach what they say as "peg tube". He also have tracheostomy tube in the neck Also mri scans have shown global or severe hypoxic brain injuury He is only 33 . he also produce tears in both eyes.. he cannot even control his head ... ... Right now he is discharge from the hospital and we are caring for at home we are doing physiotherapy ourselves. To protect him from bed sores We are changing his position every hour on bed
Sir ek chotasa question hai? Yadi chest ki bajaay haath, pair ya head me pain stimulus diya jaay tab kaisa pehchanege motor response wo bhi ek bar bataiega. Ushme Motor response ko kaise samjhege. Really I need this to understand
There are two types of painful stimuli-central and peripheral.Central sites are-sternal pressure, supraorbital pressure or trapezius squeeze. Peripheral sites are pinching the nail bed or pinching web between thumb and index finger. When we are assessing brain function central stimuli should be used because the response is coming from brain while with peripheral stimuli we are not sure if the response is coming from brain or its a local relex arc coming from spinal cord which may make our assesment wrong GOOD QUESTION!!

Sir you explained very nicely. I have some doubts though :
How to calculate score if either e v m is Nt?
How to assess gcs if pt is drowsy or had taken alcohol prior to injury.
In first case it can't be assessed in second case it can be assessed from the response patient is giving at that time.
Very nice sir

Sir dead person ka GCS kya hoga
Dead is dead .
Dead pt is not in coma.
No need for GCS
@@fundaclinical actually today was my norcet paper...and they asked about dead person's GCS...... I'm confused with 3 and 0
GCS of brain dead patient will be 3
GCS can never be zero
Minimum score cannot be below 3
@@fundaclinical ok sir.... thank you so much 😊
Sir GCA SCORE 0 hai tab kya hota h
@@himanshukahar1465 bhai minimum score 3 hai aur max 15
