The tinsel will slide out of your hair as you wash and brush it. If you want to physically take it out when tied in you can brush your hair to slide it down a little from the roots. Once it’s not on your root you can take the tinsel and the pieces of hair first grabbing the pieces of hair that was used to tie in the tinsel and then grab the knot part of the tinsel and gently slide it out. If you do the beaded tinsel method meaning a bead is holding in the tinsel you can take pliers to open the bead to take out the tinsel
