Thanks for the video....So for remote start of the diesel generator in an ATS circuit, if i am using this sane cintrol panel, i would connect terminal 5 to the Normally close contact of mains relay or contactor to the terminal 24.
So if the mains fail, Terminals 5 and 24 would be connected, hence the generator starts.

In most cases the company that supply the controller also makes the control panel. So yes the terminal numbers and control design changes as per controller company.
