    Hello.. any suggestions in this question : Scott addict 30 tiagra group or Cube Attain ultegra group or Orbea Avant H30d 105 group.....almost same price.....🤔🤔🤔

    • @CyclingInsider
      @CyclingInsider  4 года назад +1

      Since you say they are almost the same price, then go for Cube Attain or Orbea. Orbea has a lifetime warranty on the frame and Cube has only few years warranty.

    Really like your reviews! Keep up the good work! But maybe an idea for a next vid, I would like to see a review of the Trek émonda SL5 Disc. Because I'm considering to buy the Trek émonda SL5 Disc or the Canyon Aeroad CF SL 8.0 Disc.

    • @CyclingInsider
      @CyclingInsider  4 года назад +1

      If I were you I would skip Emonda SL5 Disc and save a bit more money so I can get Emonda SL6 Disc. Trek has some discounts now so Emonda SL6 is £2100 which is an absolute steal.

      Canyon Aeroad is totally different type of bike compared to Emonda. Aeroad is aero road bike while Emonda is light climbing bike.

    Is Orbea carbon bike frame good?
    I'm worried because it is made in China

    • @CyclingInsider
      @CyclingInsider  Год назад +1

      Yes it's good. All brands make carbon frames in China.

      I saw on the forums that frames from Taiwan would be better :D

    Good review again, thanks for the notion of the rotors. I think this bike is very competitive with the other endureance bikes in the Ultegra segment

      Yes, please do also check the wheel hubs (it's a bit confusing which hubs they use)

    Hello, great review.
    I am wondering about buying this bike but don't have a change to check it out locally. When I am looking at the size table it seems to have huge standover. As I am 177cm hight and 80cm inseam I am not sure if it is smart decision to pick up this bike in size 53. Orbea website calculator says I should have pick up 51 which sounds really weird because for example Domane SL6 in 54 is a bit to short (reach) for me.
    Have you had a chance to test it out? Please let me know what do you think about Orbea sizing guide.

    • @CyclingInsider
      @CyclingInsider  4 года назад

      Drop an email to Orbea directly or write them on social media. They will reply. Or call a shop in your country that stocks Orbea bikes and ask them about sizing.

    Nice channel! I wanted to ask you if I'm getting a good deal for an Orbea Avant M30 Team-D 2020. Your review is for the M20, I think the only difference is that the M30 comes with shimano 105 instead of ultegra. (you have an M30 review, but that's for an Orca model). My local bike shop is asking for the equivalent of 2000 British pounds for the Avant M30, what do you think? They are not willing to go any lower on the price, and I wonder if it's a good deal, since if I understand it correctly, the carbon fiber option for the Avant has been discontinued, seems that Orbea will only make the Avant model in aluminum. So I wonder why is that? Was there a problem with the Avant models in carbon? I'm not sure if I should spend 2000 pounds in a 2020 model that has been discontinued. I would appreciate your input and thanks so much for your reviews.

      You are right. I see now on Orbea's page that 2021 Avant is aluminum frame. I don't think there was any problem with 2020 Avant with carbon frame. Also, Orbea offers lifetime warranty on carbon frames and forks so there should be no problem:
      www.orbea.com/gb-en/warranty/
      So this shop wants to sell you 2020 Avant for circa £2000. What was the original price? What's the percentage of discount they are giving to you?
      For example, I see here that retail price is still £2000:

      @@CyclingInsider Thanks so much for your quick response! So this shop claims they are already giving me a 15% discount. According to them, the original price was £2328. So, since it's a 2020 model and it has been discontinued, I have no way of verifying what was the original price. Very few places have it available online, like the one you kindly shared in your response, and the asking price is £1999. So with that in mind, I'm thinking they are marking up the price like in a car dealership, and then they pretend to be giving you a discount. In your opinion, what would be a fair price for a bike in this range, 105 groupset and their OMP lower grade carbon. Grazie y Pura Vida!

      @@alexvideo1 Well, since I found a shop in UK that can sell you this bike currently for £2,000 , then you should ask your local shop to do it for £1850-1900.
      I don't believe that original price was £2328. Too much.
      Just look at these current bikes for example which are all around £2,000:

    What is the weight of this bike ?

    • @CyclingInsider
      @CyclingInsider  4 года назад

      Weight is such a mystery with all bike manufacturers. They just avoid reporting it. The only way is to call the Orbea bike dealer and just ask them to weight it. Or do a bit of Googling. I am sure somebody has already reported the weight.
