You have to have the evidence first. Otherwise, the case collapses and charges can never be bought again. There is much less evidence against Wendi than either Donna or Charlie. She hasn't been caught on tape admitting to anything. Unless the other conspirators give evidence against her, its hard to see how she will be charged. In our justice system, you still need evidence to charge someone, hunches, and accusations alone won't cut it in court.

I haven't followed this as closely as most, but, it seems to me that Wendy's acting abilities sure have come in handy...and, also, was Dan EVER that mean to her? All couples disagree at times..Wendy may have been creating chaos to get sympathy.

Satan fooled them... and stoked their anger, unforgiveness & hatred. Instead of turning it all over to God, they gave way to the darkness & were used. Wishing them evil & misery is crawling into the same cesspool of wickedness. We should be praying for them, to be saved by Jesus Christ.
It would have been wiser to at least attempt to negotiate/mediate with the grandparents. Two professionals with their own careers really could have used family close by to assist with the toddler children. A family counselor could have brought attention to Grandma that disparaging the boys' father was extremely harmful to them and not acceptable. Dan was brilliant and could have easily found work anywhere. They as a family could have decided to move closer to the Grandparents if they were properly counseled and agreeable to act in the interests of the little sunshines. It would have been worth a try.
To think that right now Donna is sitting in a cold, dirty, dark jail cell is satisfying. ... but even more so, is that she will be moving over to Tallahassee- the place where, not only Charlie is, but the same city that these Adelson's desperately tried to get Dan's children out of, is poetic justice in itself.

I left my country and came to USA to marry my ex-husband. I chose to stay away from my country and family to allow my daughter to be raised close to her father. I can’t imagine someone being this selfish and self centered … to the point that you get the other parent killed to satisfy a person’s ego.
I've been living in a foreing country for the last 18yrs and decided not to get married or having kids exactly because am terrified of such situation. Just thinking about the issues of a divorce with a kid, living away. I'd rather having a child as a solo parent than having to go through divorce. Sad reality. 😢

I don't believe Wendi knew before it happened. I do believe she found out very soon afterwards. Those emails of Donna's really sealed it for me. I think Charlie would have done anything for Donna... to bask in the glow of mother's for _once_ not-disappointed gaze? He's a dip that got to play "hero" for his family and simultaneously play with the street thugs he could never fit in with. This is not to say Charlie isn't responsible for his role in the murder! Just that I observe a guy that was constantly overlooked by his family in favor of Wendi and their brother, and often thought of as the only one of three Adelson offspring that wasn't very disciplined; not "squared away" and/or serious about his life in the way his mother and father and siblings were. He was the Paris Hilton of the Adelson kids... all hedonism while Wendi was doing the valuable work of making the family look good while adding children to the clan. So the custody problem with "Jibbers" presented a vehicle in which Charlie could receive some _respect_ from Donna. Finally! Here was a way to "man up" and provide value to the family instead of just making gobs of money and bringing sexy chicks in from Miami to decorate his hot tub with. In an obviously matriarchal family I think Charlie was a little boy who jumped (how high, mommy?) at the chance to show his mom and treasured golden-child sister that he could and would step up and protect their interests. He is a garbage human being yes, but I am confident he would have _NEVER_ done this on his own. Donna is the big fish but her days swimming appear to be numbered.

The Domestic Relations Court system is broken. DR attorneys participate is said system. However, divorce is 3 items, division of assets , debts and minor children. Sooner the parties agree, the sooner you save your kids college fund on not fighting.
My ex-husband's family is like this Adleson family. My three grown children haven't spoken to me for 15 years due to their sick "pack" mentality. So sad and frustrating for me as I love and miss my children so very much😢

Wendi's pathetic acting at the police station after being "informed" of Dan's murder. She, as far as I'm concerned, is the most guilty of them all. She was the one who put the battery in everyone's back that set things in motion. Also, who would have been the most familiar with Dan's morning routine insofar as the hit being carried out without the kids being around.

It's hard for normal people to understand and accept the level of dysfunction in this family unless you come from one. And it's not just because of the mother wanting her adult daughter near their family but more of not allowing someone else to cross her.
Sadly, there’s probably not enough evidence to arrest her… not unless somebody rolls and provides something definitive that isn’t known yet. Donna and Charlie were the ones that got this whole thing going and followed it through.

Following this case all the way from Australia, I think Wendi is involved also, if I drive by the street that my children live on and see police tape and the street closed off I would have freaked the hell out and demanded to know if my children were alright! Yes I have felt angry depressed hopeless but never once would I wish the ultimate revenge on the mother and inlaws. Maybe look at the deeper issues of fathers experience in the Family Courts !!

No they haven't. Wendy only lived with her parents for the first 6-9 months after Dan was murdered. After that she and the boys moved out ...that stayed in Southern Florida, but they didn't live with Donna and Harvey for the past 9 years

I found the probable cause document regarding Charlie Adelson on google. From what I read, it’s possible that Wendi could be charged!!

Turns out Dan was correct in wanting to limit Donna’s access to the kids. I think at one point he wanted “supervised visitation.”
He knew she was toxic and like any concerned parent wanted to protect them

It would have been wiser to at least attempt to negotiate/mediate with the grandparents. Two professionals with their own careers really could have used family close by to assist with the toddler children. A family counselor could have brought attention to Grandma that disparaging the boys' father was extremely harmful to them and not acceptable. Dan was brilliant and could have easily found work anywhere. They as a family could have decided to move closer to the Grandparents if they were properly counseled and agreeable to act in the interests of the little sunshines. It would have been worth a try.

I don't believe Wendi knew before it happened. I do believe she found out very soon afterwards. Those emails of Donna's really sealed it for me. I think Charlie would have done anything for Donna... to bask in the glow of mother's for _once_ not-disappointed gaze? He's a dip that got to play "hero" for his family and simultaneously play with the street thugs he could never fit in with. This is not to say Charlie isn't responsible for his role in the murder! Just that I observe a guy that was constantly overlooked by his family in favor of Wendi and their brother, and often thought of as the only one of three Adelson offspring that wasn't very disciplined; not "squared away" and/or serious about his life in the way his mother and father and siblings were. He was the Paris Hilton of the Adelson kids... all hedonism while Wendi was doing the valuable work of making the family look good while adding children to the clan. So the custody problem with "Jibbers" presented a vehicle in which Charlie could receive some _respect_ from Donna. Finally!
Here was a way to "man up" and provide value to the family instead of just making gobs of money and bringing sexy chicks in from Miami to decorate his hot tub with.
In an obviously matriarchal family I think Charlie was a little boy who jumped (how high, mommy?) at the chance to show his mom and treasured golden-child sister that he could and would step up and protect their interests.

I watched this 11 days ago--but I decided to watch it again. Vinnie's passion for justice is the best I have seen in all of the podcasts I have watched. I had to see it again. Thanks Vinnie!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad to see her finally charged and arrested. Her psychotic selfishness cost those kids their father, and has ruined any sense of trust in their mother and extended family. Just disgusting. I'm with Vinnie on the anger, I was appalled at the whole family.

Because of this narcissist, entitled, selfish woman, these children are going to be left without their dad, uncle, grandma and probably their mother, Wendi! This is beyond tragic! Horrific! I feel horrible for those boys and can only think how this is going to affect their future lives. As far as Charlie, Donna and hopefully Wendi in their involvement of this absolutely sick course of action, they will be right where they belong! May their life be a living hell in prison.

Those boys are 13 and 14 and have lived with their mother and maternal grandparents for 9 years. I worry that they have been brainwashed to the point where they will refuse to have a relationship with their father's family. I fear that the damage has been done and is permanent.
No they haven't. Wendy only lived with her parents for the first 6-9 months after Dan was murdered. After that she and the boys moved out ...that stayed in Southern Florida, but they didn't live with Donna and Harvey for the past 9 years

Those children are in danger. They need to be removed from these crazy people. If they will kill their father then they will kill the children because if they can’t have them then no one will. Get those kids to safety

Wendi claims Dan was mentally abusive, so what is she? Wendi was physical, emotional and mental. She was the master of playing the victim and managed to paint this picture of how she was abused so they could do her dirty work! Please save those children.
I don’t believe this…….where is the proof that Wendy was not emotionally abused by Dan? Just because Dan expressed a very possessive love of his children does not mean he was not practicing narcissistic coercive control under their domestic roof with Wendy!

And Wendi… I wonder if Jeff L, her ex bf, who put this together moments after hearing about the murder, could be the key to arrest Wendi. He saw and heard things…. And at the trials the state kept him tight. I bet in Donna’s trial the Prosecutor highlights Jeffery L’s testimony & Rob Adelson’s.
