I recently swept out this open fire with a back boiler. This is a little different from your usual back boiler. I hope you find it interesting. Enjoy! #sweepunit
Thank you, moved into a 1947 coal board house with an old immaculate Parkray with a back boiler and love it to bits. I'm like a sponge on solid fuel sucking up all knowledge on it. Subscribed to channel.
Hi, if it's really wet I'd usually scoop it into a bucket. But this was OK and only had a bit up build up in the hose. I cleaned that out when I got home.
Hello, Fellow sweep, thanks for the videos! What vacuum do you use? Do you use a vacuum bag with all your filters, or do you just let the filters do the job and let the soot go into the bare canister and empty the canister into a bag after every job? Thank you!
Hi, I'm using one of the vacs from Rotary Power Sweeping. I did a video on the filters I use a little while ago. It's best to watch that rather than me explain it here. 👍
i have the same hoover as our fellow here, its a good bit of kit, but is costly, as you can also add to the basic unit a trolley and attachment's, i just added the attachment's which are very handy @@akaredcrossbow
@@cooking23 Thank you. I’m in the United States and I can only get the SnapLok vacuum version. It would be nice to get a Soot Devil, the filters seem to be less cumbersome, especially the open bag filter.

Thank you. I hope you get something out of it 👍
Dunsley were the best manufacturers of open fires. My favourite of all was the Condor. Wonder if there are any left out there.....
Not sure I'm familiar with that one 🤔 tons of old Baxi open fires around here but slowly being replaced.
brilliant job, well done, new sub 🙂
😊
can you do, if possible, a video of creosote removal, and anything special you would use to remove it, 🧐👍
Once I get an opportunity I'll do it 👌
amazing fire place, never knew these existed!!, but was wondering that the wet dust that was there, wouldn't that cause damage to your hoover?
