INEOS were only supposed to have control of football operations at Manchester United but they have far more power than that already...and there's more to come.
I told a friend of mine at the beginning of this deal that INEOS will slowly buy out the glazer family and 100% own Man Utd provided other minority shareholders are sorted out.
I will celebrate, only when Ineos get to 100% of the club. But can I really scare the crap out of you guys? what if Ratcliffe passes away and the Glazers use more debt, to purchase his stake?
If this happens, we are back to square one.
Sorry to depress you guys but it's possible as long as those rats are at United.
@@bunchlead Can't put on any more debt = banks themselves will refuse/not sustainable plus they have already maxed out on credit and the independent regulator will not sanction/permit, levered buy out is now outlawed by PL so no chance they could buy shares then leverage the club again especially since his shares are 1.5 billion, also think ineos/famly members would be the inheritor of any shares.
I am glad as long as the glazers go
@@mktf5582 They could raise funds in other ways. These are pure scum. Never underestimate them.
Exactly right, Sam. There is a dynamism about Ineos Man Utd, which indicates the strength of the intent is real, and in no way half-hearted. Hope, restored, maybe!
What about the french team they were involved in.. Nothing..
Ineos take over has been everything we imagined a Sheihk Jassim takeover could be. As a former SJ camper, I can not be more impressed. More than happy to eat my words.
And thank God SJ didn't take over. Otherwise I would have to stop calling Man City FC as "Oil City FC" 😂😂😂😂
@@riichobamin7612 The Oil State ownership of football clubs in England is a complete disaster to football in our country.
Respect for you in owning up, many wouldn't be so forthcoming !
@@phillaw7952 not to football let's be honest it's elivated the league and made it the best in the world, although it does set a bad message, that the culture, land, and Legacy of the country is an oil tycoons play thing

Just need them out the club regardless of how much power or influence they have over the club.
I'll be honest, I was worried about Ratcliffe at first, but after what's been happening, I have never been more hopeful for the future!
Honestly at the beginning I was so mad we didn’t get the Qatar money. Especially with all the offers and promises they were giving. Looking back at it, lowkey happy we didn’t sell our identity to oil money. Hopefully Ineos will make us the champions we were in the next 3-5 years
They asked Patrick Stewart to fill the role of interim chief executive officer for them then essentially fired him when he did. They strip companies for shareholder profits. That’s what Radcliffe is known for.
Ineos is the best thing to happen to MUFC in decades, complete much needed restructure, exciting times ahead
We’ll see 🤔
I hope so
Lille.. what did they do there.? Nothing.
@@MrChrisBarker perhaps you should engage your brain instead of being a keyboard typist
Yeah let's not get carried away. They haven't done much so far.
It feels weird. Everytime a game ends we feel flat. Yet everytime UPTV tells us about the future we get really excited! Can we get our club back up to where it was before?
Not with this manager
@@wiretom not with these players
@@wiretom manager (whilst not without faults, does not deserve all the blame) :)
What will break me the most is seeing Erik Ten Hag leaving..... I was so excited about ETH when we brought him into the club
No manager has been able to be successful (by United standards) under the Glazer ownership. If EtH gets another go next season we may see huge improvements.
@@kootrell suspect that if they really do have clear out of players and start playing the youth and build from there with ETH in charge, it'll finally start to change. Getting rid of ETH is madness and will simply repeat the same old story
I am so glad so many can see that Ten Hag isn't the problem. Sure, he is tactically frustrating but hey, rebuilding takes time and any manager rebuilding will take 1 or 2 seasons to experiment, trial and error. Look at his team in his first season. Individual errors costs us the exit from Europa and defeat in FA Cup Final last season.
most likely will happen, so Ratcliffe can get "in his eyes" right man on the job.
ETH is a good man, and Idk if anyone else could've done as well as he did when he took over, but idk if he is the right man for the job ahead.
if Jim took over earlier, I think it could've worked better, but ETH has solidified himself in stature in the squad, and by now, it looks like some of the squad members are in disagreement about him and his style or just straight up don't want to be on the pitch even for him.
I think we need a new man due to these things.
@@mcw1393 ETH is a part of the problem, but that is due to having been there for 2 seasons, the players (which also is a part of the issue) haven't been bleeding for the shirt, and that, in turn also will turn badly on him (added note: backroom also is a part of the blame.. but ultimately, I think ETH also have to go to make the squad a bit better and find new unison under new leadership).
I was heavily critical of Ineos winning over Qatar. I hope I can say I was majorly wrong. Everything I’ve seen so far is great. I’m really happy they won the bid.
Everything is taking place slowly with ineos and Jim ratcliffe. Great video Sam
Hopefully this is the start of a new era and the Glazer's time is finally coming to an end.

Congratulations on the 400k subs. Been here since 100k. And I’m sooooo proud 😊
The Glazers are just a bunch of kids who inherited their father's money and a football club without ever having to know or understand business, which is why it was falling apart and everyone was giving themselves bonuses and promoting themselves until Ineos came in.
Dudes have done a good job owning NFL Tampa Bay Bucs but are yet to figure out how radically different the NFL is from the Premier League. American pro sports have tons of checks in place to stop you from ruining your own franchise (salary cap, player draft, huge revenue sharing, tax money for stadiums, no relegation etc) and these fools never learned the difference. hell they didn't even care - the team is still top 5 or six every year and they can take millions out right?
The thing that plays on my mind is thinking about where United would be now if the parasites were never allowed to buy the club.
100% me too..these toxic twats have ruined the club that along shitty cheating makes me mad ..the glazers realise they can sit back whilst still making money ,how we didn’t get relegated I don’t know..onwards and upwards ..👍🏼
The thing that I think about is what if the Rock of Gibraltar broke its neck on its first Group 1 race and there was no fall out from the horse becoming a sensation, where would united be now?
Please someone more capable than I, feel free to make a what if doc🐴
United would've fallen a lot earlier if Glazers hadn't taken over, but would've also been picked up a lot sooner.
United was without debt in the "pre Glazers era" but, we didn't have a master class retail side as we got with Glazers.. you can say whatever you want about those leeches.. but holyshit they are good at generating money both for the club and themselves.
United became a commercial giant due to them and in turn, got ahead of all competition the last few years with SAF in regards to income.
this is primarily the reason even when United got Europa League football, outearned finalist in the Champions League in later years, there's still few on the book that earns as much as United does (Barca, RMadrid, City and Bayern or Dortmund (can't recall which of the german clubs it was) rivals United in income).
If United had not gotten under the Glazers, we would most likely have fallen behind as we did with Moyes in the league and LvG, but in difference, we would most likely not have gotten such huge increases in income, that we on the book, could not and would not be able to spend as we did to maintain our top 4 stature.
Obviously this is based on only how the glazers people signed players (spenditure + sales + scouting etc). but an educated guess would be that, scouting and wish to sign would be of similar "red line". United would sign 1-2 players and struggled as much with offloading players, have to extend contracts with players we'd want to "send on the door"
Good video as usual Sam. Always a good idea to look at things with a broad perspective to appreciate what’s happening at the club. I expect the fans to continue to agitate as most want to be in a title chase every year. For fans like me, who have supported the club for over 50 years and seen a lot worse on the pitch, gradual improvement is the best way forward, even if it takes us another 4 or 5 years.
congrats on 400k
We’ll rise again! We’re coming back again! Glory Glory Man United
Congrats on 400k subscribers.. Favourite United channel. Fully Deserved... 👏🏻
Funny to watch the photo of Blanc and Ratcliffe together. On first glance they appear like brothers..... Brothers in spirit?
I am inclined to agree with that statement lol
Happy to see the optimism back on your channel :D
Still: Glazers Out!
I can’t understand why so many folk were critical of Ratcliffe’s takeover. So far he is doing a good job as far as I can see.
The Goldridge agenda
he has done nothing
@@helgijacobsen1497 he has literally removed "wrong people in wrong positions" and keep bringing more and more educated and well respected people in their respective fields to the positions that they have experience in..
he is looking at a new venue for training a "new Carrington" so to speak, that will put us up to "state of the art" again and looking at either an complete overhaul of Old Trafford estimated to cost about 50% of a new stadium or building a new stadium..
Mans barely been in the club officially for 5 months.. and behind the scenes..already done more central figure changes than Glazers have in 10 years.. there's a change coming bois!
Great listen 👍🏻⚽️
Delighted to see you hit 400,000 subscribers, Sam. Well done!! 👍
Hi👋 I watch your show everyday(mostly), not because I'm a Manchester United die hard fan(Barca 1st, ManU 2nd), but because I'm a fan of yours mate .
The way you conduct your channel, the info and the heart you give mate, thank you❤️🙏💙 big up 👍
Let's get the squad overhaul and get the titles we so desperately need🛑
Yes it's been a long time coming, but I don't see happening for another few years as the changes need to kick in, but when you look at what has happened in such a short time it's mind boggling !
as you discuss about the players list... its will be good to see a complete list of present and expected staff for management position currently in our club... also with a bit of details of their work nature....so we can also be aware of what we can expect for everyone...
Not gonna lie, at first I have doubts about him since I don't know him but after few research, I came to the conclusion that Sir Jim is actually a rising hero to declare revolution and independence from the Glazers, as if Sir Jim is a patriot hero who freed his country from colonization. Sir Jim will definitely bring back the old glory of Man United, who knows... Maybe where in the title race again in 2 years and becomes a title winning team.
Respect to Sir Jim, he's not fuckin about he's getting stuck in to the task of rebuilding the Club👍👍
I got a feeling there's great things to come! GGMU!!!
I hope we stick with EtH. We need balance, we need consistency, we need fluidity. We won't get that chopping and changing the manager.
Damn right. Even the most optimistic person wouldn't have thought of Ineos' influence to our club in such a short time
Kindly remember that no matter who they sell, who they sign or who they plan to sign. They will never ever be able to satisfy every single United fan or channel. Also, do not judge a new signing, particularly from abroad, in their first six months.
Now I'm really excited. Great video Sam 👍🏾
I am so happy that INEOS came in. Otherwise I would have had to stop calling Man City as "Oil City FC" 😂😂😂😂
You do realise ineos does oil right? Oil, chemicals, plastics. Ineos are a horrible polluter. More than just dirty oil money, but definitely dirty oil money
400k congrats Sam
I see great potential coming out from this, Nice could be used as a feeder club and bring in youth players to gain experience.
Glazers basically sold the club, but still want to hold most of their share just for a better price in the next few years after INEOS rebuild and make the club succeed again ( the club could be worth more than 10 billion dollars as assuming if United starts to win major trophies again in the next 10 years)
I disagree with you on this, Sam. The Glazers have accepted that they have failed and are shifting the responsibility to someone who knows what he is doing.
At the end of the day, they want to continue making money from this club
The only way the Glazers can "make more money" is by selling more shares to SJR, and that's what they'll do.
Problem for the paras.tes is they cannot afford utd anymore, problems/costs to great for them now.
Bro please improve your audio or change your mic!! No matter if I listen on headphones or speakers it's always low! But love your content!💯
Good to have these changes behind the scenes but these are just for quarterly earnings and return on investments. Most important are the performance on the pitch and medical facilities
Great 👍🏽
Good news 📰
Glazers still have full control as the main share holders. They can pull the plug on any transfer or appointment at any time
Sir Jim one of our own saving our club from this clueless American. Can’t believe he will take the job so serious 😊😊😊
about to? nonono my dear Watson, you have already hit it :D congrats!
i like the idea..iam fully on it..but wat if glazers are just waiting around for all the things to fall in place and then again playing bad games to gain more control once we are back in football and commercial front
SJR will be buying the remaining Glazer shares. Expect majority ownership within 18 months, and full ownership in 3 to 5 years.
Nice move
I highly doubt that someone with the 25% steak is taking over everything. The Glazer still own Over 50% of the club. The blazers are still in control. Never forget that.
Patrick Stewart lol 😂 he looks like that muppet from the x men with the same name
I was pro-Sheikh Jassim. INEOS are doing so well. I'm on their side now. They mean business.
I think its VERY important to never forget that the glazers still own this club and wield alot of power. Even with ineos "taking control." Its only because the glazers allow it.
Im hoping jim can clean the toxic out of united and do what United fans want
The Glazers have no interest in the day to day running of the club all they care about is how much money they can take out the club they need to go now!!!
Im sure in the "25%" deal it includes a caveat that financial errors that impact the football Sir Jim can drive change.
Also the Glazers will make money of it and get binned off 🙏
Im sorry im not as optimistic as you. Ill believe real change when i see it .
Time will tell
The Glazers have been very smart and lucky getting Sir Jim in.They don't have to run the club and got Jim to pay handsomely for it, and they still have a majority stake to sell in the club!
Need to take a look at new salary cap rules based on lowest earning clubs revenue. Seems designed to reel in cheaty but will take united down as well. NFL style parity for EPL means Bayern, Madrid, Barca, PSG will reign over Europe.
Back to the 80’s and 90’s
Ratcliffe will have big money managers who can get Uniteds money making on hyperdrive.
Giving United enough money to rebuild Old Trafford and our football team.
Sounds like glaziers are totally going🎉
Hope Blanc's ties to PSG means that we can get them to pay money AF for our players.
Wish we could sign Florian Wirtz
Backroom staff has changed. Everything is now on INEOS head.
I wish them luck
How do united deal with the debt?
Ratcliffe is a selfmade businessman who can push change quickly .
Results on the field will take longer but it will happen.
Ineos have a lot of experience in the sporting business .
Go United.
Lets not forget, Sir Jim is a friend of the Glazers or at least he certainly has previous relationship with them. It could be that Sir Jim is making most of the decisions but lets be honest the Glazers name is in the gutter in the eyes of the fans. It could be Sir Jim in name, but who is to say that the Glazers are not making some of these decisions. Credit where it's due however, some of these board appointments are top notch and that's not the Glazers. It is actually a bit of an eye opener. It seems like the Galzers thought the good times would just keep rolling without actually putting people in place that could do it. Amateur hour. Hope we keep moving in the right direction, but eventually the leeches need to go.
Why do I see zidane rumors? Any of this true?
Everything up to signing the checks and money
Sam, you sure did put a smile 😃 on my face, so excited about all the changes and clean up 🧼 going on, that was urgently needed. Thank you!!
When did Professor X leave our club?
I'll reserve my feelings of excitement for now thank you very much.😂
I'll believe in real change when we either win the league or we are holding the Champions League Cup.... until then 💤
So your telling us they are going to stop bleeding the club and not taking their annual dividends don’t think so
So happy to hear all these changes are taking place, we are slowly but surely getting our club back 🔴⚪⚫
how sad we became, show after show it's about executives.
I hope he take over as owner
Blanc is gonna be CEO for a month not for 2 months
Class A shares (Makes up 10% of the ownership)
Ineos owns 25%, by the end of 2024 it will be 29%
Capital management Institutions own 75%
Class B shares (90% ownership)
Glaziers own 68% of assets and corporate control
Ineos owns 25% (29% by the end of 2024) of Sporting control
After 30% Ineos can make a mandatory takeover and buy all the class A shares and remove them from the NYSE, at 90% they can make a compulsory acquisition. By the end of 2024 Ineos will own around 32%

Ineos hasn’t actually done anything yet but talk ! What are you on about ? So a few new ppl in the new structure that’s it ! No concrete confirmation of whether we keep HAG and what players are coming in or who’s truly going out ! I don’t judge until transfer window finishes
There's no full takeover glazers still majority owners so whatever INEOS do it can't happen without glazer signature
Now we need to get Thomas Tuchel in he’s the best in class as a manager
No he's not he's a disaster, there's a reason he gets sacked everywhere he goes
Stick to ten Hag, if it doesn't work next 2 years he should leave.

Just need a new medical team now. Then lower player wages and sell the dead wood and some good players.
Petrick Stewart has not been replaced yet, he'll be replaced at the END OF THE SEASON
Jean Claude Blanc is taking over from who?
Full takeover = full ownership. That's not happening. Ineos were always going to be given control of the club. This is so the Glazers aren't responsible for anything and therefore nobody can blame them for anything.
Glazers cannot afford utd anymore = simply not rich enough-networth/debts/maxed out on credit card, ratcliffe can acquire shares by = debt to acquisition.
@@mktf5582 That's makes no sense. The Glazers still own a majority stake in the club. And the club is only allowed to spend a portion of its revenue so ownership investment is limited now anyway.

Can someone explain how would have the Qatari ownership been better than Ineos ownership till this point of time ??
The Qatari would have done what INEOS is doing but the biggest difference would have been the departure of the parasites called the glazers and Man Utd would have been debt free under Qatari 100% ownership.
@@charlesodoch6070 You have no idea what Qatar would have done. You have no idea who would have been running the club or what the football structure would have looked like. I assume you don't know, because I kept asking the "oil me up brigade" what things would look like under Qatari ownership, and I never got an answer. Blanc, Brailsford, Reece, Nevin and Bell certainly wouldn't have come to the club because these are Ineos people. Berrada, Ashworth, and Wilcox almost certainly wouldn't have joined the club. As for the debt, it's an irrelevance right right now, it'll only be dealt with when it needs refinancing in 2027 and 2029.

Amazing how so many Ratcliffe and INEOS naysayers are now getting behind him. Who'd have thought? Football fans in 2024 lmao
Well when you get one saying “full sale and clear debt” and one saying “25%” you have every right to be sceptical of the latter
Alot of us naysayers weren’t keen on a 25% ownership as we preferred the Glazers to be fully out. We also considered the Sheik to be more flush with cash and saw that as a faster route to success where we need a squad overhaul and a new stadium. We also looked at Ratcliffe’s track record with football clubs in France and didn’t see anything notable to shout about, so I think all these aspects are fair for outsiders trying to make an analysis on the best new structure for our club.
That said he’s come in and made some great moves and us naysayers are pleasantly surprised and look forward to what comes next.
Glazers are too powerful. They are not leaving.
They ain't powerful because they have had to go begging around world for money to fix their own messes, they will leave because they cannot afford utd anymore.

Glad the Saudi didn't come in it would have been a disaster.
Long story short: Ronaldo was Right
Glazers being silent majority partners isn’t great for the club long term. Sir Jim isn’t going to be around forever and then what? INEOS won’t have the same focus without him.
