I’m not tryna make this an excuse but it’s the character bee uses, reptile is bottom 5 going against the top 1 character. No matter how good you are with a character there’s a reason Johnny is most used in tournaments. I was tryna reach Grandmaster this season for the reiko skin, I use reptile cause he’s my second main, when I hit champion I couldn’t win easily no more cause the Johnny, peacemakers, lui , etc. But I chose reiko and started winning more.
Also I’m not gone say I direct spam shuriken stars a few times but I played how rewind plays, shuriken stars while constantly changing tenor variation so he can tank the enemy’s projectile, and I mixed in mids and low amplified slides to catch a neutral blocking opponent lol when they they jumped in I did stand 3 into a full combo. Don’t get me wrong I still struggled playing against better characters BUT i had a easier time dealing with them with Reiko compared to with reptile lol I literally just wanted the Reiko reptile skin 😂
