THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS. My mom distracted me cause she was asking questions on something from earlier today so I couldn’t soak in the cutscene when I played it 😭 tyyyyyy
I genuinely don't know what happened here. Did Kazuha awaken his friend's vision with his own desire to save the traveller or had his friend already entrusted his ambition to Kazuha when he died and was only waiting for the right moment where Kazuha's ambition would need help. If it's the latter then that really pushes the idea they were trying to go for, that all of these ambitions whilst being taken were never lost and instead resided in the visions themselves. They only needed a catalyst to push their desires forward which the traveller happened to be in that position. It also works to enhance the relationship between Kazuha and his friend way more than the story did before as well as works to make the traveller a little more relatable, it's not like they can use the ambition of all the vision users because they're gods, they can do it because they put in the work to help people and were genuinely trusted by everyone which game them the power to beat Ei who did the opposite.
Which means, this was Ei. Ei woke up when her puppet’s execution failed. In the end Ei gets full permission to use the puppet after winning the eternal fight, which indicates she has had control over it just not full control.
The best part about this is that its implied that Kazuha's friend's ambition lingered on in the dead Vision and that was rekindled when it resonated with his own desire to protect the Traveler from the attack that took his friend from him. Despite this being an ELECTRO VISION being used AGAINST the Electro Archon herself. It kind of shows that for all their raw power, the will of a mortal can overcome even the gods.
The facts that Kazuha managed to awake a dead Vision, use it besides his own and parried a goddess's ultimate blow... That's some badass stuff. And it makes some sense: When Tomo (his friend's name is Tomo and nobody can change my mind) died, he couldn't do anything. Not only because he didn't arrive on time, but also because if he somehow managed to save Tomo that would have utterly dishonored him in any way possible. He lost in fair combat (Electro Vision bearer vs Electro Vision bearer, not even an elemental effectiveness), and he knew the repercussions. He lost, and by rule the Shogun executed him. Fleeing would've make him look like nothing but a shameless coward. But with the Traveler not only he was on time: The Shogun attacked unannounced by the back the second the Traveler stepped out of Tenshukaku, just to TECHNICALLY let them leave alive. Then it was more than fair to block her blow. He realized it, and to do so he had to ''brave the lightning'', the very same thing that Tomo thought. For a moment, he had both Tomo's determination and his own. However, he could've just pushed or pulled the Traveler out of the Musou no Hitotachi's way. but he managed to stop it and make Raiden back away...
Probably the reason why Kazuha’s vision awakened at this exact moment was because the ambition of his own aligned exactly with the ambition of his friend, thus reawakening and gaining control of the vision because the vision had the same exact ambition of blocking the blade.

His friend once said that there must be someone who can stand against the no Musou no Hitotachi, In the end it was Kazuha who did what his friend dreamt of doing Kazuha is one of the best Characters to ever exist in Genshin
The power of friendship works well in a lot of plotlines. Kazuha is just broken main protagonist energy while not being the main protagonist, or being anywhere near as actually interesting.
So if visions are manifested by emotions and ambitions, then going based off what we know about almost every electro user, they received their vision after a tragic event. So perhaps kazuha having lost one friend to the shogun, seeing the traveler about to suffer the same fate, perhaps the fear of losing another friend was enough to activate the vision? Even if only for a moment?
This scene makes me want to write a whole self-insert fan fic where my oc can die in a tragic self-sacrificial death before they could see the end of the goal they were trying to accomplish with everyone knowing and having to accept that no one will be able to fulfill it after his death. There would be no big pay off, no hopes of resurrection, just the tragic reality that sometimes stories end without being resolved.
The traveller didn't get a single ounce of recognition for fighting the whole fight against raiden and ei but kazuha got recognition for just one block
This could be cool point in Genshin cause Chadzuha is literally the only one who managed to awaken two of them simultaneously, adding potential "Avatar the last airbender" moment here. Like, MC finds the way how he can do that or something and somehow manages to use two elements instead of one, but Hoyo just said f- it.
What I feel like a missed opportunity should have been that after kazuha deflected the musou no hitotachi, the sangonomiya soldiers ambition and morale grew and awakened the visions on the statue, instead of going to fight the Raiden shogun, they could have made them fight the Raiden forces, but now surrounded by elemental energy and using the elements, just like kazuha used his friend's vision, the sangonomiya soldiers activated the visions of their land to fight, because all we get is a basically useless extra animation of the visions in the statue lighting up and... Nothing happening
It's kinda cool how kazuha kept looking for a person who could use his dead friends vision but in the end he was the only one who could use it.

So perhaps kazuha having lost one friend to the shogun, seeing the traveler about to suffer the same fate, perhaps the fear of losing another friend was enough to activate the vision? Even if only for a moment?
"Parry This You Filthy Casual", and he does just that.
BRO I CALLED THIS AND I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THIS CUTSCENE
i’m back here after seeing freminet pulling the kazuha move
I actually got chills nonstop when im doing this quest
I just notice All of the force's have vision but reiden take it every time the vision at the statue glow it shows who the owner of the vision

Mega Shogun isn't real, she can't hurt you.
Mega Shogun: 0:09
1:06 visions awaked ? Or what ?
Visions taken from the vision hunt decree ig
the man used the power of the god of freedom and eternity which means eternal freedom i guess
man fuckin activate second vision lmao
What I feel like a missed opportunity should have been that after kazuha deflected the musou no hitotachi, the sangonomiya soldiers ambition and morale grew and awakened the visions on the statue, instead of going to fight the Raiden shogun, they could have made them fight the Raiden forces, but now surrounded by elemental energy and using the elements, just like kazuha used his friend's vision, the sangonomiya soldiers activated the visions of their land to fight, because all we get is a basically useless extra animation of the visions in the statue lighting up and... Nothing happening
SLAY AETHER AND KAZUHA OHHH THIS SCENE KILLS!!
this scene gave me mad goosebumps
C7 Kazuha looking pretty nice I might pull for his 7th on the next rerun.
It just meant that the wish or desire that gave birth to the vision is also the thing that needed it to use or light it up if he wielder died
" there must be one who could withstand it" damn...kazuha made tomo proud.
me with my potato phone watching the cutscene at 1 fps: SHEEEESHHHHH
Aether learn from noelle how to unleash excalibur.. Dam i need that on the game Mihoyo plz..

Paimon be like though its a piece of cake for me but I'll pretend I'm shocked
