omg thank you. With PayPal update deleting stuff from years ago I downloaded all my information and every time I opened on excel it went wonky I was panicking. Thank you so much.
Thanks for sharing. I had Quickbooks years ago and left because it couldn’t manage PayPal and it’s multiple currencies. Hours spent on the phone to customer service. Terrible software for businesses that work in multiple currencies, fine for UK only. I’m hesitant to give Xero a try to be honest and I’m a bit disappointed there’s this much of a process to add PayPal.
The process to hook up PayPal and Xero is pretty easy. It will then bring in all your transactions automatically. You can then reconcile them easily in Xero too. For multi-currecy, you'll need to set up one Xero feed per currency. Check out my Xero + PayPal playlist for all the how-to videos ruclips.net/p/PL_O2H5nPsuW5e9eBQgFxSrcKl024STZkW
Thanks for the great video, I will definitely subscribe to your channel! I have a newbie question about "positive fees." Some of my transactions are refunds that I made to my customers, and Paypal refunded the fee to me. This resulted in a fee amount that is positive instead of negative. Will this cause any issues with Xero, when I follow the process you outlined in your video?

Thank you
Thnx for helping ☺️
Any time
When the transactions come into Xero via an automatic feed, are they also on two separate lines ie. gross amount and fee amount? Thanks.
Do you have a tutorial for doing the same but with Stripe?
No sorry

No it won't cause issues. You just need to reconcile the refunded sales to your sales account and the refunded fees to your fees expense account.
Hi. Can I also use a spreadsheet file to do the sorting of data?
Yes you can sort the data in Google Sheets like I did in the video or your can do it in Microsoft Excel.
@@mark-and-trina Thank you so much for the reply.
