The Hamish Blake Experience

In 2016 we had the honour of working with infamous comedian and TV personality, Hamish Blake.
Hamish made a bet with his wife that he could learn the whole drum part to Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" in just 3 weeks. If he won, he got to keep the kit - if he didn't, he had to sell it.
The whole process became an ongoing part of the Hamish and Andy radio show with Hamish then having to perform the track to a sold out crowd with a touring band from New Zealand - "Bonjah" - at The Corner Hotel, one of Melbourne's most famous live music venues.
It was definitely a challenge, but our Musical Director - Campbell Phillips - rose to the occasion and managed to get Hamish over the line. He got to keep the kit - Phew!
