Yes yes, the glass is fantastic, but personally, I never get tired of hearing, 'a constriction is formed, and the excess glass is broken away' or any of the other oft repeated step instructions. I'm not even kidding! Narrator, you are doing a marvellous job :) Edit: have just discovered it is the artist himself narrating, how actually marvelous!
I love these shorter videos. I don't always have time for the epic 1 - 1.5 hour long videos. Great Job! Does anyone ever collect the "snipped" bits? I'd so save them in a bowl of something. Glad you gave us The Glamour shot on the end.
Hi, Bill actually has a collection of some of his clippings in his office. Some glassmakers keep the clippings to make into paperweights or other glass objects. Thanks for watching!
Son geniales estos vídeos cortos! Como siempre es un placer disfrutar las habilidades de Gungerath, tiene una voz hermosa y hace parecer todo tan fácil!
Corning Museum of Glass Wow! I have certainly learned a lot from Bill’s narration and videos 😊 I am so happy to have found this channel. My mom grew up in West Virginia, where there were many glass factories in the past (only a few remain, to my knowledge)-I love Blenko in particular. I get my love of glass from her. I’ve gotten to see the Glass Pavilion at the Toledo Museum of Art, but I hope to make a visit to CMOG someday.
Great question! The decoration you see on the vessel is called diamond-point engraving, which uses engraving tools tipped with small diamonds capable of making very fine lines on the glass. Thanks for watching!
That's a great way to phrase it! Yesterday, we released Bill's newest e-resource, "The Techniques of Renaissance Venetian-Style Glassworking," which included these 20 video recreations of Venetian-style objects. You can check out the full resource at renvenetianstyle.cmog.org. Thanks for watching!

We completely agree, thank you for watching, Roxanne!

Could not have guessed the number of steps needed to make this! WOW!
Excellent demo with well explained instructions. No unnecessary verbal "fan fare".

Blown Away on Netflix has brought me here
That's so awesome, thanks for watching Blown Away and our channel!
While the whole process was mesmerizing to watch, I wonder how would you add the extra detail the original piece has. Could anyone explain this?

I wondered the same thing!
It was Christmas yesterday, apparently.
