Normally one would have the script and later approach the Actors but Rajamouli says this movie wouldn't be there if Prabhas wasn't there Rajamouli was awestruck by this new actor (who was just 4 movie old) in the Telugu Film industry. He says he was smitten by the Cutout (the body built) and Charisma of Prabhas and wanted to make a movie just to showcase the Mighty Aura So Chatrapathi was made keeping Prabhas in mind. And even though Prabhas was new he portrayed the Character very well and became a Charismatic Hero!
