I just picked this game up a few months ago and I'm absolutely hooked. Cannot get enough of it. The map is ridiculously massive and shockingly dense for how big it is. Most based and regions have their own little feel and infil/exfil feels different for every mission. The amount of ways you can take a base is amazing. Snipe from 500m out, call in a rebel distraction and Infil opposite the action, take out guys as you move through the base and use your squad as overwatch (the AI spots pretty well if you tell them to hold at an overwatch position), or just go balls out with a chopper. The only thing I'd say is the AI becomes absolute aimbots on higher difficulty. You can get spotted, move position 50m away behind cover, and the AI will snipe your face in the second they spot you at the new locale even if they're doing akimbo Uzi's. In another three months and 200hrs later after I complete the game I'll move on to breakpoint.
I love how this game always references “the activity”, as in the Intelligence Support Activity. The army and JSOC’s military intelligence unit. Very secretive but super cool. They were involved in the Pablo Escobar biz so I’m assuming that’s why the game is using it in this story line.
This is the best Open World Ghost Recon game. Had so much fun with Wildlands and it still is gorgeous. Let's hope Ubi will come up with another entry in the franchise which takes Wildlands "Fallen Ghosts" plus some mechanics from Breakpoint as a foundation for something truly next level

For real bruh cuz breakpoint is the next game in the ghost recon franchise, but it just wasn't as enjoyable for me as wildlands, and wildlands is already a much different experience to the previous ghost recon games. We need a direct sequel to wildlands. At least a game that keeps the amazing atmosphere, art direction, and generally all the good things from wildlands, with better graphics than breakpoint (maybe rtx and dlss tech, and hopefully much more optimized. But keeping the good things from breakpoint, like customizability, gun play, etc. As a fan of rainbow 6 siege, I loved that caveira, my favorite operator, was given an entire mission in ghost recon, and there were many r6s skins in the game as well. In breakpoint, I also like that you can have r6s ops as your AI companions as well. In short, I want a new game with the best parts of wildlands and the best parts of breakpoint, while also being original and maybe innovating in some new directions, but can Ubisoft really provide this for us? Only time will tell...

It's because he uses the MK14 rifle, it's a semi-auto sniper that can also fire at full-auto. I'm not sure if MK14 in real life can also fire full-auto, but there are many variants of this rifle so probably some of them can. In the game however, you can switch from semi to auto.

Anyway, yes Wildlands is both playable online with 3 other people and offline with AI teammates. Plus these are some multiplayer modes like ghost war, wave defence and a form of battle royale last one standing called extraction i think.

Pretty cool game still no much dynamics on levels to develop more interactive experiences.. So it keeps basically the same amongst all the storyline. Red Dead Redemption has much more stuff, side quests and different interactions..
