Miss doing Europe, I remember years ago stop 24 was closed so couldn’t fuel up so went accross and turned around on the A16 to fuel at the BP at grande synthe, 3 migrants managed to get in and I had no clue until I opened up in Germany 🤣 the faces on them though when they found out where they were 🤣🤣

Good 1 martyn. As bad as it is been held up all nigth at lease with the driving hours you still get your time off. Old days you'd off still had to go on deliver and pick up your back load to get home.. 👍☘️👍
The times me and my hubby have been over (around 30 times), although it's just been holidaying, we've been stopped when entering Dover from France, and actually, once only, leaving Dover (by British customs) on our way to France. Hope Claire is feeling better after her op.

The Joys of European Fridge work. You really do sound completely fed up with the situation. But honestly its part and parcel of European trucking. As for making plans and arrangements I gave up doing that years ago. Keep your chin up.....Switch off and take it as it comes less stress that way..
As a great fan of your blogs, which I’ve watched now for a couple or so years, I feel I must say the following. Since you started with Broughtons, you seem to be forever chasing your tail. Constantly held up here there and everywhere. Stuck on the Paris ring road, backing into super iffy bays that were designed to rip your trailer to bits. Regularly amassing infringements and wearing yourself to a frazzle. This blog started with you looking and sounding suicidal, I genuinely felt so sorry for you. Then you suffer the French customs at their very worst. Perhaps you would be better staying put in the UK and driving around our fair shores. You make such a wonderful blog about truck driving, and I personally think you are wasted driving in Europe, despite how much you maybe think you are enjoying it. You do appear to be constantly stressed and under the pressure of constantly trying to catch up or get ahead, you did not show that when you worked for X Transport. Of course, all of the above is what I’ve noticed. I wish you all the best in wherever you drive or whoever you drive for. Please give my best regards to Claire, and I hope her operation is a great success.

Hi jenko great vlog mate hope Claire is on the mend mate. My dad drove for a company when I was about 11 it was about 1999-2000 and had imagrents on bourd it was the drivers first time over the water too.

You guys who do the crossing all the time might not notice but there's not much room getting on the train if you get pulled in to custom's and they do a full unload check do they have to put the load back on properly and how do they do it if you have frozen food on if they unload you brilliant video look forward to seeing your videos stay safe out there 👍

Lots of companies run days back to nights,look at some of the petrol tanker drivers shift pattens they are brutal,seems it’s a mixed bag with broughtons you run hard then get a few easy days just the norm👍
As always a great insight into trucking an all it involves 👍🏼 It still totally baffles me though as to why so many British people voted to introduce customs checks on goods 🤯 You say you were lucky to only have to wait 3 hours but before Brexit you wouldn't have had to wait at all and there wouldn't be the cost of all the paperwork before leaving the UK either. It all just adds to the cost of living for everyone.
